I like rolling around the idea of Caesar eventually getting a Gen 3 body.

With the dedication to his work, and constantly risking his life- and at times dying (and needing his programming put into a whole new synth), I feel as though him getting the more human-like body would be a way to attempt making him take his dedication down a notch. A last ditch effort his fiancé has to force him to take it easier- as he’d probably be pretty tired of seeing Caesar die over and over again, for what he sees as a rather useless mission. Bartholomew being rather pessimistic, while Caesar was very optimistic.

And to Caesar, someone that’s incredibly self conscious about his looks as a synth, it would be a very big ultimatum. Get his confidence back, being able to live like a human, so on- but not being able to put all that he has into his work.
