Now that the Minutemen have claimed the dominant superior faction of the commonwealth they'll need to prove it.
With the Brotherhood claiming the air and the Railroad in espionage the Minutemen obviously have claimed the land with checkpoints and settlements all over, as well as building alliances to keep the Commonwealth in check from having another war. The Minutemen will need a way to transport troops and supplies quicker as caravans isn't enough at times. So they have decided to build themselves a naval base as they have managed to repair some of the pre war ships for their needs. The mighty army has ships from Finch Farm, Kingsport Lighthouse, Spectacle Island, The Castle, and Nordhadgen Beach now having the water superiority as well. Finch Farm is one of the most dangerous settlements to live at the moment as they have gunners and raiders up north and super mutants down south, they'll need a way to get supplies fast and safe. Therefore the Minutemen decided to build a naval base with the Railroad to help with their runway synths from the remnants of the once feared Institute.
The goal of Finch Naval Base is to let the smaller factions in the area know that the Minutemen are the top dog now matter what, as well as be a quick stop for any Minutemen ships needing to refuel on oil or get resupplied for a voyage to Far Harbor. The Naval Base is also used by the Railroad to help them transport synths to a new life.
So a base this important must always be under constant watch not only by the Minutemen, but also the remains of the Institute. The Institutes remains has been keeping track of this base as it contains some Institute technology stolen from the attack on the Institute as well as the synths needed by the Institute for their undercover operation around the Commonwealth. The Minutemen have taken notice to the Institute wanting of the base and have dispatched heavy Minutemen and Railroad officers to help keep the problem in hands. That is the full lore of this settlement of mine.
-------------Informations and Stuff------------
This base has a small fleet docked known as the Becker fleet currently docked at the moment, named after the general before the Sole Survivor.
The Railroad operations room is located atop the bridge with some stolen Institute technology.
The lower part has 24 hour surveillance with Minutemen in power armor. The place has lots of spotlights and turret.
Near the bottom there is a couple of shipping containers ready to be loaded aboard the ships for other settlements in need of medical or defensive supplies.
The place itself took around 4 or 5 hours to build as its a small settlement. I used mods like UCO, Settlement Supplies Expanded, and Place Anywhere. I built this entirely on the Xbox One with heavy amounts of mods. Thanks for spending your time looking and or watching my proud build!
Note: This is my OC and I spent hours on thinking of the lore and building the actual place, you dare steal it and claim it as your own and I'll demolish your fucking brains out with a sledgehammer.
