Today I’m gonna be doing the weekly challenge :tada: When I saw this challenge, I thought it was such a good idea and there are so many options of how you can do it! So, this is my attempt.

This contains all 12 and a special guest. Who is it… who knows :wink: I will give my reasons for who I switched at the end of the post because…it fits my story better I guess.

I thought a lot about how I could make this as little confusing as possible but couldn’t come up with a method so I decided to do as in the challenge post: write the name I quotation marks if it’s the physical appearance of the person and without them if it’s the actual person.

Also, English isn’t my first language so there will probably be some grammatical errors along the way. Hope you enjoy anyway.

Xiumin was slowly waking up. He could see the light of day faintly through his eyelids and hear the distant buzzing sounds of the city awakening. He started opening his eyes making sure to go slow to avoid being blinded by the daylight. The more he opened his eyes the clearer it became to him that something was off. It took him a few seconds to realize that he was staring right into his own face. Right where Chen would normally lay sleeping in, way too long in Xiumins opinion, was instead himself.

“Xiumin’s” eyes opened suddenly and he rolled backwards off the bed in shock. “What is going on”, “Xiumin” screamed but with Chen’s voice.

For a few seconds Xiumin was frozen in place but after staring into his own face a little longer he finally said, “ehhm, you are… me”.

“Wait what. No, you are me”, said Chen. “This is unbelievable”, he said as he made his way to the mirror. Xiumin was slowly realizing what was happening too as he sat on the bed staring at “Chen’s” hands that now somehow belonged to him.

“We switched bodies”, Xiumin said almost inaudibly as if in a trace.

“Well spotted Sherlock”, Chen said snorting but moved quickly to Xiumin’s side at the bed when he saw how devastated he looked. “Come on it can’t be that bad being me”, he said giving Xiumins shoulder a gentle squeeze. He got a little smile back. “Weird trying to cheer yourself up”, he thought. “And we still have our own voices right, so we are not all changed”, he didn’t get to say more before “Luhan” came crashing into the room.

“No, they haven’t changed!” yelled Baekhyun’s voice through Luhan’s mouth. “Maybe it’s just us then”. Baekhyun caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror and walked towards it. “Awww! I’m so cute!”, he yelled with joy squishing his cheeks. “Does Luhan feel this cute every day!?”, Baekhyun asked not directed towards anyone but the mirror.

“We have changed too”, said Chen causing Baekhyun to gape at “Xiumin’s” face as Chens voice came out of his mouth. “Kyungsoo” entered the room.

“Chanyeol, they switched with each other!” Baekhyun squealed while bursting into laughter and “Kyungsoo” quickly followed suit. “Wait”, Baekhyun said, “does this mean that Luhan is in my body and Kyungsoo is in yours?”

“I have no idea, but let’s find out”, Chanyeol answered. “I am so tiny now I can hide anywhere and spy on him”, he said with a grin and walked towards the door with Baekhyun, leaving Xiumin and Chen in the room even more confused than before. They sat down in front of the door to Kyungsoo and Kai’s room trying to hear what they were saying.

“Why did it have to be Chanyeol’s body!”, Kyungsoo complained, “It’s too hard to control these long limbs!”. Chanyeol looked at Baekhyun with a hurt face while Baekhyun was trying desperately not to give them away by laughing.

“It will be fine, I have always wanted to try to be the little spoon anyway”, Kai said teasingly.

“Shut up, I’m not that small usually”, was Kyungsoo’s answer.

“Stop that”, “Tao” said directed towards Baekhyun and Chanyeol. “Don’t spy on them! That’s very rude! Go to the kitchen we are having a meeting.” Hearing this in Suho’s voice Baekhyun finally burst out laughing.

“Who put you in charge Tao”, he giggled, “you should be more polite! to call me hyung!”

“Very funny Baekhyun”, Suho said, “get in the kitchen!” This time both Chanyeol and Baekhyun obeyed their orders and started going towards the kitchen.

People were starting to gather round in the kitchen as Chanyeol suddently had a problem. “Sorry I really have to go to the bathroom! I think that my bladder got smaller along with my body”, he said as he rushed to the bathroom.

“Don’t peek Chanyeol”, Kyungsoo said giving Chanyeol in his body a death stare.

“Kyungsoo, how am I supposed to go to the bathroom without seeing your… nevermind”, Chanyeol answered and quickly went to the bathroom.

Suho decided to stop this conversation as he demanded that they all said who they switched with “to make things more manageable”, as he said. “Who are you”, Suho asked pointing a “Kris”.

“Tao, we have known each other for so long don’t you me?”, Lay answered in an upset voice.

“He still doesn’t get it”, Kris said, “I have tried to explain that we switched bodies all morning… But he still doesn’t get it!”

“That’s okay”, Suho said keeping as calm as possible. “So I know that Xiumin switched with Chen, Chanyeol switched with Kyungsoo, Baekhyun switched with Luhan, Lay switched with Kris and I switched with Tao, but who did you switch with?” he asked looking at Kai.

“I…I didn’t switch with anyone. I’m still me” Kai answered.

Everybody looked confused for a second until Suho said, “then it doesn’t add up! There must be someone else who hasn’t changed!” Before Lay could even start to question why Kai couldn’t be the only one to not have changed Suho said, “Because we are an even number”. That was apparently enough explanation for Lay as he nodded thoughtfully with Kris’s head.

“Sehun is still sleeping, it must be him”, Kris said and they all rushed to Sehun’s room with “Tao” in front.

They opened the door slowly and was met with the sight of “Sehun” laying at the foot of the bed curled up in a ball. As he woke up he stretched his body as far as possible and curled tightly up in a ball once more.

Suho rushed to his side putting a palm on “Sehun’s” forehead. “Do you feel sick”, he asked. “Sehun” stared up at him with glazed eyes continuing to turn his head so he could see all of them standing in the doorway, looking at him. He then turned his head back and continued sleeping as if nothing had happened. That was when they noticed the bump under the blanket.

“What is that”, Lay asked pointing at it as it started moving around under the blanket.

“Help me out here guys! Which way is out, I can’t seem to find my way out”, sounded Sehun’s voice. The others were standing tongue-tied staring at the bump moving closer and closer to the edge of the blanket until… Vivi’s head popped up from underneath. For a second everything was silent but it didn’t take long before everyone was laughing hysterically.

“Why are you laughing”, Sehun asked form Vivi’s body. “I think I got the best switch! Look how adorable I am! And I can sleep all day, life is great!”.

“Okay fine then”, Suho said, “let’s just go see what this day brings. This can’t last forever”.

Okay, so Xiuchen is my OTP (gosh they are so cute!). And I found the idea of waking up staring at yourself hilarious :joy: so I dicided to switch them.

Luhan and Baekhyun are both adorable! And I thought that Baekhyun's reaction to switching from one cute face to another would be funny.

I'm sure that this switch was pretty expected. The idea of switching theese to is great because of their "love/hate" relationship. Of course they love each other but as we all know, Chanyeol likes to tease Kyungsoo :joy: I also thought that this would be interesting because Chanyeol is really tall and Kyungsoo is tiny so adjusting to the new body might be challengeing.

I switched these two because Suho is the leader and is therefore in charge and Tao is in the maknae line and is not the one to lead so it would be funny to me seeing Suho trying to boss around with the in Tao's body.

I switched these two for kinda the same reason as Suho and Tao. Also Kris is the "cold city guy" and Lay has a really adorable personality so... Yearh that's the reason.

Also sorry to Lay for making him a bit stupid in this... I know that he is not stupid in real life :sweat_smile:
