ʜɪ ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ~

         As you may or may not have already

         noticed, the EA Artists Club is back

         with a new theme for March!

        This month our theme was...

"ᴛᴀᴛᴛᴏᴏs"

         I really love tattoos so I was super

         excited for this theme! When it came

         to actually doing it though somehow

         I couldn't come up with anything :sweat_smile:

         Eventually though after a lengthy

         conversation in the club chat I was

         hit with inspiration... and thus

         spooderhun came to be :clap:

ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ ᴘʀᴏᴄᴇss

         As I mentioned, I got the idea for

         this fanart after a conversation in

         which I brought up my idea for a

         fanfic in which sehun turns into a

         spider (don't steal I'm still gonna write

         this wATCH ME) and it kinda got me

         to spider-person Sehun.

          I decided that something as "edgy"

          as a spider-person could do with

          some tattoos so I decided to com-

          bine it with the monthly theme and

          here we are :raised_hands:

ʀᴇғᴇʀᴇɴᴄᴇs

         Overall I used this picture as a

         reference:

         For his hair I used this pic from

         lotto era~

          I also changed some things up and

          improvised a lot during the process.

ᴡᴏʀᴋ ɪɴ ᴘʀᴏɢʀᴇss

          Firstly I sketched everything out with

          a pencil~ I had to use 4B for it to be

          actually visible on grey paper :joy:

          Also pls look at his face and appre-

          ciate the way I mostly got his facial

          features right because it may or may

          not be about to go downhill from here

          For the shading I started off with

          natural charcoal.

         Next I went over it with charcoal

         pencils to darken the shadows~

         Next I drew what's actually the point

         of the theme, the tattoos! I wanted to

         give him a piece that looks like a

         spider's legs on his right arms but it

         kinda looks more like a big tribal

         now :sweat_smile: oh well :joy:

         Anyways, I also gave him a little

          script tattoo onto his collarbone. It

         says "aranea" which is latin for

         spider :sunglasses: (so original I am aware

         don't applaud too loudly)

         After that I drew highlights with a

         white pastel pencil.

         At that point all the layers had kinda

         messed up his face along the way so

         I tried my best to fix it with some

         details and... it semi-worked? Better

         than before but by far not as good as

         the first sketch ;__;

         But anyways, with that I was done~

         I'll be honest, I have kinda mixed

         feelings about it🤔 I really love the

         spider hand thingie and I like the way

         the shading turned out but I'm a bit

         so-so about face :') but overall

         I think it's not too bad :raised_hands:
