I braced myself for any forceful impact - a punch, kick, shove, anything brutal. I gathered all of my mental strength and searched for any hiding EXO , waiting for an attack.
It never happened.
My ears picked up the sounds of happy laughter. Turning my head, I saw Sniper clamping a hand over his mouth with his back hunched over, an arm wrapped around his stomach. To others, it would look like he was about to vomit a river. Although, for me, I had a strong gut feeling that he was not sick. Suddenly, I could feel my ears shifting to bright red from embarrassment.
“How dare you!” I shouted, glaring at him. “That was the cruelest thing you could've done!”
He stuttered from the contained laughter. “I-I’m… so… s-s-sorr -”
I shouted, punching his arm, “Why are you such a jerk! You made me so worried!”
Calming himself, Sniper briefly explained the situation. He said that it was a test - for what, that will remain a mystery. He managed - to me, possibly commanded - five of the EXO , two of them being Chanyeol and Suho, to him. The good news was that everything went according to his plan. The bad news? - my reaction included shouting, scolding, and punching.
I glared at him. “If they're actually hurt, I'm going to send you to the hospital for about two years.”
He pouted. “How could you say that to someone younger than you!” he joked, smiling brightly. “By the way, your other friend is not with her. I also know that they wouldn't dare to hurt her.”
I raised an eyebrow. “You threatened them, didn't you?” I guessed, and he shook his head. “What did you do?”
“Since they're no longer at the top, I can make them do whatever I want, ?” Sniper reminded with a soft smile. “Besides, I know that you would never abandon your friends so quickly.”
I went quiet.
“Anyways, I'll go get YeonRa,” he said, then walked off to the back of the school. I sighed, crossing my arms and gazing into the distance.
I wonder why YeonRa is so special to you, Sniper?

I felt someone tap my shoulder with their foot. Stirring, I opened my eyes, the bright sunlight blinding me. Shifting my head, I saw Sniper standing next to me, a concerned look on his face.
“Good, you're awake,” he said, sighing in relief. “How was your small nap?”
“Not that special,” I answered, getting myself off the grass. “Did your talk with the EXO go well?”
He snickered, making me raise an eyebrow. “S-sorry. I was laughing at something else,” he said, briefly smiling. “Anyway, it went very well. I think I'll have their bullying under control for now.”
I smiled back at him. “There's something I need to ask you, and it's very important,” I added, stepping closer to him. He looked back at me, his expression serious and attentive.
“I had a dream where I was walking with a boy with jet black hair,” I informed, adding crucial details. “We were briefly talking about my brother. Then, he introduced himself to me. For some reason, I could only get part of his name.”
Surprisingly, Sniper seemed very intrigued. I searched for the familiar-sounding name in my brain.
“He was really funny and sweet,” I added with a smile. “I hope I can continue that dream again.”
Sniper chuckled and ruffled my hair. “What was his name?” he asked curiously.
“Oh, his name? I think it was something like Ren,” I replied. “Why do you ask?”
“W-wait,” he stammered. “Ren? As in, Renjun?”
I raised an eyebrow. “I think so, why?”
A brief moment of silence clouded the air.
“Nevermind,” Sniper brushes off. “Luhan's waiting for us. Let's get going, k?”
