        Heyo Whassup EA! I’m back, with yet

        another blog! Today’s topic? EXO ot12.

        Tbh, I don’t see much ot12 content on

         here and it makes me question why. 🤔

        I mean like, yeah they left EXO.. but they

        we’re still once apart of the group, so...

        :eyes: :tea: Yeah ik, they’re soloists now and

         happy with their careers away from SM’s

        basement (cough, dungeon—) but still.

         They do say “We Are One” for a reason¡

         I think it’s about time we take a second to

        appreciate the legends that were ot12,

        and get emotional, cause who wouldn’t?

       So yeah, I’ll be talking about ot12 in general

       and cover as much as I can about it.

       Anywho.. sit back, relax, listen to

OT12 is truly a gem that we shall never forget. SM actually did things right for once when they decided to debut EXO as 12 . Through many variety shows, Clips, and the unforgettable EXO’s Showtime, we got to know all 12 of them a whole lot better! I didn’t get into EXO when kris luhan and Tao we’re still around, but whether you’re a new EXO-L or an old one, you gotta appreciate EXO before what it is now cause after all, it’s our past that makes us our present selves.

Out of all the songs EXO did as 12, I’d have to say my favourite is Thunder from their mini album “Overdose”. The EXO-K version and the EXO-M version are yes, the same song, but they give off different vibes of you know what I mean. Kyungsoo and Luhan’s intros are both so unique and just..amazing in general. Kyungsoo’s smooth low voice gives off a sexy vibe meanwhile Luhan’s clear high tone makes you wanna listen more and just mesmerized on a whole different level. Another part of the song which I really like the contrast and the difference in is the rapping. Both Kris and Chanyeol’s voices are perfect for rapping and same with Sehun and Tao, but the energy is completely different when they rap in this song. Tao and Kris’ voices are different to one another. No similarities whatsoever. While Tao’s is somewhat high, Kris’ is low and when they rap together, that’s what makes shivers go down your back, that’s what makes you wanna replay that part over and over again. Chanyeol and Sehun’s rapping styles are both different but also the same. Sehun’s voice is kinda quiet but low and Chanyeol’s is loud and incredibly husky and low. This time, it’s really the loudness that makes their rapping perfect for each other.

The dance for Growl. Is there really much to be said? It’s AMAZING. Truly the best ot12 dance there is, (in my opinion at least!) That dance needs more appreciation like,,, seriously. I personally have two favourite parts of the dance. Maybe you should I check out the dance video below to refresh your memory of the dance. 👁👁

All good? Then let’s continue. The first pert which I really liked was the one from ( 0:48 - 0:52 ) which is the pre-chorus I think, I’m not so sure though. One reason for me liking this move so much is because 1, ITS POWERFUL AF! LIKE, OMAIGAWD I COULD WATCH THAT PART OVER AND OVER AGAIN and 2, you gotta it that this part is iconic. Not as iconic as the arm swinging thingy but still. Anyways, moving on. My second favourite part, (more like the best part of the dance) is from ( 2:06 - 2:13 ) during Chanyeol’s rap. Okay so first off, this move is just so, I don’t know how to describe it but I can say that I wanna watch it over and over and over and over again. It kinda reminds me of that one move in NCT’s song Cherry Bomb from their third mini album Cherry Bomb. (But on other note, lemme just say that Taeyong killed it. A true king :crown: stream yestorday- okay let’s continue :sweat_smile: ) So in conclusion, Growl is THE ot12 song and it will forever stay at the top.

Ot12? Amazing. Ot12 is truly one of a kind. The infinite talents that come from that group is mesmerizing. Let’s move on to the second topic, shall we?

The journey from Ot12 to Ot9 is really..devastating and sad. Kris, Luhan, and Tao left for their own reasons. As EXO-Le we should them in their solo careers and show some love! It’s 2019 now and yes, we’ve learned to accept and love but back then we certainly didn’t get the message. When kris left without saying anything? Yes, We were bound to be pissed. The rest of EXO must’ve been angry and sad as well. Instead of being all nice and forgiving Kris, all hell broke loose. He had his reasons for leaving. He mentioned why on a Chinese Talkshow that aired February 4th.. (I think) He mentioned that he missed his family. And seriously, who could blame him? You’ve been away from your Family in korea for 7 years and you can’t even see them in Holidays. How sad is that? I’m not gonna go into the lawsuit he filed against SM, but it was something like how they disregard human rights and overworked him during his time with EXO.

Little did we know that a few months later, in October (was it October? I can’t ) Luhan also filed a lawsuit similar to Kris’ against SM claiming that they favoured the subunit EXO-K over the subunit EXO-M. Personally, I think this took a major toll on EXO-Ls. In the same year, EXO lost 2 group . I’d like to talk about Tao in this situation, but I’ll save that until the next paragraph. I don’t exactly, but I don’t think Luhan received as much Hate and Backlash as Kris did, although they did receive a lot of it. Unlike Kris whom I feel has completely left EXO behind, Luhan still keeps in with such as Lay. (They have lots of interactions actually..) He left EXO for Heath Reasons, which is understandable.

And finally, Tao. When Tao left, he received SO MUCH HATE...more than Kris and Luhan combined. After Kris and Luhan left, Tao had called Kris a traitor. But soon enough, Tao left the group himself. We all say stupid stuff when we’re young. Tao has made a mistake. Can’t we forgive him now? The reason he left EXO was because of many injuries. Two examples would be from when he had injured himself in a high-jump event (Idol Star Athletic Championship thingy) in 2013, and when he severely injured his foot while filming for “Laws Of The Jungle” in 2014. I don’t know for sure, but I think Tao lost his lawsuit in Korea, but had won it in China. (I’m actually not so sure, so forgive me if I got anything wrong.) As I said above, Tao called Kris a traitor when he left. But later after he had left the group himself, he said in an interview that if he could go back to that moment, he would certainly Kris and his decision to leave. Okay but i also have to mention that Taoris moment at the Dragon TV New Years Countdown. Tao and Kris Hugged! (Taoris shippers it’s our time to rise from the dead-) I’m too lazy to put the link here, so if you really wanna see just PM me :sleepy:

Anyways, KrisHanTao left EXO and that took a toll on all of us. But they has their own reasons to leave and we should that, Hence moving to the final topic!

THIS IS 2019 PEOPLE! WE’RE BETTER THAN THIS! We gotta come together as one, put the past behind us, and Kris, Luhan, and Tao in their solo careers. You liked them so much when they were in EXO? Okay cool so why not now? Is it because they left the group? Go read the second section if you still don’t get the point, but please. Kris, Luhan, and Tao has enough of SM not treating them fairly so being the intellectuals they were, they left SM to live their best hetero (*cough* gay *cough*) life in China. After leaving EXO, these three really made it big! Let’s see some examples, shall we?

First off, back when Tao was I’m EXO, he really didn’t get a chance to show off his vocal and rap skills, and let me tell you..HIS SONGS ARE AMAZING! A few personal favourites I have are his OST from The Foreigner, Still in Time, and Hater. We respect a legend :clap: 🏼 :clap: 🏼 :clap: 🏼 He also released a full-length album called The Road. (I really wanna buy it, but I ain’t got no money, so.. ಥ_ಥ) Back then, people also called him stuff like ugly but OH MY LORD DO YOU SEE THIS MAN NOW?? bish excuse you, but THIS RIGHT HERE is what you call legendary!

After leaving EXO, Luhan rose to fame in China quite fast. He released his solo album Lu which contains 10 tracks. He also acted in a few dramas like Fighter of the Destiny and Sweet Combat. (I actually love sweet combat so much-) Plus, after he left EXO Luhan also got himself a girlfriend. Talk about doing things right 👁👁 :ok_hand: 🏼 Out of all of Luhan’s songs I’d have to say my favourites (my current obsessions) are Set It Off, Skin to Skin, and Roleplay. Oh BtW, Y’ALL SHOULD STREAM THE SKIN TO SKIN MV CAUSE WHY NOT. In this house we respect ot12 and kings.

This blog is way to long, I know. But sit tight cause I got a lot to say about our local Galaxy Boi. KRIS IS ANOTHER WORD FOR LEGEND. Yes, I am vv kris biased :triumph: :two_hearts: I love him with my whole heart. Can we take a second to talk about bald kris tho?? Just imagine using his shiny head as a bowling ball lolol. But WAIT. THERE’S MORE. Can’t forget when he had a mullet 🤠 (YEs I’m gonna say it. Baekhyun was the one who started the mullet trend with that miraculous hairstyle during Kokobop. You know it’s true. Don’t lie to yourself.) My favourite Hairstyle of His has to be when he has silver hair. Dayum, someone should draw Kris as Victor from Yuri On Ice. (Every time I see that hairstyle I hear the Yuri On Ice there song playing in the distance-) Okay moving onto songs. Kris recently released his full-length album called “Antares.” Antares is the name of the 14th largest star btw, so I’m not surprised that he named his album after something to do with galaxy. My favourite songs have to be Tough Pill, Deserve which he did with Travis Scott, 18, and Juice which he sang for the movie he acted in, xXx: return of Xander Cage.
