Y’all are never going to guess what happened lol

So I was scrolling through Pinterest to look for pictures for another story and these prompts were recommended to me.

They were all so interesting but there was one that instantly caught my eye, and I just had to exo-ify it because that’s what I do to everything :)

ᎿᏂᏋ ᏰᎯᎴᎴᏋᎦᎿ ᎶᏌᎩ

Minseok woke up with the sunrise on a fine Tuesday morning. He stretched, rejuvenated and refreshed. He smiled as he got up to make his favorite morning coffee.

With breakfast out of the way, Minseok took a nice, quick shower and got dressed. He decided to go for his classic style today: a white button up and matching black khakis, suspenders and a bow tie. Double checking his hair in the mirror and giving a confident smile, he pointed finger guns to himself and said, “Looking good, Seokkie boy. Looking good.”

Satisfied, he grabbed his book bag and strode to the door. Minseok grabbed the handle to open the door, when he saw something in the corner of his eye. He looked around to see it again, and gasped.

A dark cloud swirled in his living room, floating above the floor. The clouds climbed, climbed, climbed on top of itself until it reached taller than Minseok. The clouds suddenly vanished. Minseok swallowed.

He was a monster. Horns, tail, wings and razor teeth when he smiled. Minseok was paralyzed with fear.

“Hi!” Minseok expected something menacing, and that is not what he got. The monster waved at him with a nice voice. “Are you-“ He paused to read something on his hand. “Kim Minseok?”

Minseok wanted to lie, just to get the monster away. But what if the monster had special lie-detector powers? Minseok didn’t know what that freak was capable of and he didn’t want to risk his head being blown off. So to play it safe, he slowly said, “Yeah, it is...why?”

“Oh good, I’m in the right place!” The monster exclaimed. “My name is Jongin, I got lost on the way, but I’m here now!”

“Why?” Any fear Minseok had was completely lost to the words Jongin just said. There was nothing about him that was threatening or scary.

“Oh, I forgot that part, I’m here to possess you!”

Minseok blinked. “Are you serious?”

“Yeah, silly!” Jongin giggled. “I’m a demon, it’s my job to ruin your day by possessing you. And it’s my first day so I can’t disappoint my boss. He gets mad easily so-“

“Wait, can’t you just possess someone else?”

“I don’t get to pick who I possess, it just comes in a folder and I do what I have to do. Now let’s get this show on the road!” Jongin rubbed his hands together and the dark clouds swirled around him again, and in an instant the clouds crashed into Minseok. He covered his face with his arms to protect himself, only to feel nothing.

He blinked again. Minseok checked himself to see if he was really okay, and to his conclusion he was. “That was so weir-“

Hello? Minseok, can you hear me?

“Jongin?!” Minseok exclaimed. He looked around for that odd demon, but he wasn’t anywhere in the living room. That meant-

Yeah, I’m in your head! Oh boy, it worked! Let’s get to ruining your day, are you ready?

“No, I-“ Without his consent, Minseok‘s hand shakily rose up to grab the door knob. He gave several attempts to grab it but to no avail. Minseok struggled to hold in a laugh. “Do you need help with that?

Shut up, I told you it was my first day, I’ve never done this before!

His whining was cute and funny, and Minseok decided to help Jongin out by opening the door for him.

“You’re welcome, Jongin.” Jongin was controlling Minseok’s legs, making him waddle awkwardly. It was uncomfortable, but at least Jongin was doing something right.

Minseok had no idea why he wasn’t panicking. There was literally a demon controlling him and invading his thoughts, and at the most Minseok felt annoyed rather than afraid. He wasn’t even unsettled.

Eventually, Jongin smoothed out Minseok’s walking, and that started to worry him. What if Jongin got the hang of everything quickly? What if he really tried to ruin Minseok’s seemingly normal day? What if Jongin wasn’t as innocent as Minseok thought and-

“Hey, Minseok!” He heard his friend, Zitao call him from down the hall. Jongin walked Minseok over to him, and Minseok couldn’t make him stop. “We waited for you for twenty minutes, what happened to you?”

Now’s my chance-

Minseok tried to stop himself, but it was too late. “Hello, Buttface.” He said with a smile. “It’s such a stinky morning, wouldn’t you agree?”

Nailed it.

Minseok couldn’t believe that was the best Jongin came up with for an insult. Then he went over this mornings’ events and he realized that was like Jongin to say something like that. Maybe being possessed by him wouldn’t be so bad.

Oh, don’t worry Seokkie, I’m only getting started!

Minseok just sighed. Jongin was hopeless and that was that.

Tao just stared at him in complete confusion. “Um, are you okay?”

“Never better, you rain cloud. Now let’s get going to see our other friend who’s name is...” Minseok blinked. Tao blinked back, even more confused. “Baekhyun! Yes, his name is Baekhyun, that crusty crab. Gosh he’s so annoying.”

Minseok mentally facepalmed and Jongin mentally giggled. Minseok thought that was cute.

I’m not cute! I’m a scary demon that’s evil and stuff, you’ll see.

“Okay then.” Tao said slowly. They walked out of Minseok’s complex - Jongin still slightly struggling with the stairs - and to Tao’s fancy car.

Minseok inhaled and got ready for another one of Jongin’s weak insults. “Wow, your car is so yellow, like bees. And I’m allergic to honey.”

The guy in the drivers seat, Baekhyun, looked at Minseok with pure shame. “Minseok, we went over this,” He sighed, rubbing his temples. “If you want to insult someone, please make it make sense. I’ve told Chanyeol this too many times, please don’t become infected with his idiot diseases.”

“Sure thing, fart jar.” Minseok needed to find a way to make himself shut up because it was embarrassing at this point.

“What-“

“Look, Baek, he’s been broken since I found him,” Tao interjected. “Let’s just get him in the car so we can go.”

“Fine, Fine.” Tao practically shoves Minseok in the back seat, and gets in the enger seat. Minseok was just glad his friends didn’t shoo him off because of the so-called “idiot disease”.

When I’m done with you, you won’t have any friends left, my insults were so good!

Minseok just rolled his eyes and smiled when he heard Jongin’s evil (adorable) laugh again.
