┇ Welcome to this months artling theme!

┇ Pastels! As it was recently Jun’s birthday

┇ and his enlistment announcement, I

┇ couldn’t draw another member I am afraid.

┇ I decided as the theme was pastels I would

┇ look at it from both a literal and aesthetic

┇ purpose- the equipment that I used were

┇ soft pastels (get it aren’t I punny) and I also

┇ attempted a soft overall aesthetic!

✧ ˚.

┇ Because I attempted to draw a beautiful soft

┇ pastel jun I included many things that I enjoy

┇ such as flowers and bunny’s, unfortunately

┇ as I started this piece back in April I

┇ managed to loose every reference for them

┇ and only had the basic sketch, fortunately I

┇ found the picture of jun I was working from

┇ and the rest... well I just made them up- so if

┇ they’re not the most realistic flowers or

┇ rabbit you’ve ever seen I apologise! I did

┇ have a massive 20 minute conundrum over

┇ the colour of a rabbits nose though if that

┇ makes you feel better!

✧ ˚.

┇ The time taken for this piece was roughly 6

┇ or 7 hours due to the pretty large scale it is

┇ on (A3) and the many details, also so much

┇ hair and I really hate drawing hair hahaha

✧ ˚.

When I saw this on my feed I was absolutely blown away-- missus you've made gorgeous art before but I think this is my favorite so far, bc LoOk At iT omlllll sorry I have no words,, it's just that the soft, swirly movement of the piece and the colors just work together so perfectly, and the bunny is just too cute

Ahhh millie this is gorgeous!! I'm in love with those warm colours and the blue makes for a stunning contrast! Especially jun's skin and hair look so lifelike and beautiful :two_hearts: plus that bunny is adorbs cjxksbssn

Oh my Mill *-* A3 is pr massive for pastels imo, and you did an outstanding job as usual.. Love, love, love this piece..
