My name's Valentina; you can call me Val or V.

Nice to meet you <(_ _)>

I'm an European EXO-L from Latvia.

I became EXO-L in 2018; and ed EA in Nov 2020.

I can work with different traditional materials like graphite pencils, colour pencils, watercolours, acrylic paint, markers, ink and pens.

【motivational letter】

When I first came to EA I saw artlings in the list of clubs. I wanted to but it seemed that no recruiting was going on at that time so I give up.

I was happy to see recruiting post now. I would like to contribute to the club. I think what artlings do here on EA is wonderful; art is something that connects people around the world despite their differences.

I also hope to find help in motivating myself to draw more often and improving my skills.

【my story】

I've been drawing since I myself;

moreover one of my most clear childhood memories is colouring dinosaurs in children's coloring book. I was also drawing stuff in inner covers of

the books (shame).

I was drawing ever since. I was always praised for that. In hard times art became my comfort zone; sort of a place where I can escape real world. Later it became a way of communication and a way to express my thought and ideas.

Not long ago I came to understanding that I can't imagine my life without creating at least something (even a little chibi anime girl in the

corner of a notebook).

Sadly I had a long break in drawing. I won't talk about the exact reasons for that (it's a sensitive topic and I'm not sure how Amino will take it). Thanks to EXO and EA I started to draw again and slowly restoring my ion for art. I'd like to pursue a professional artist career in future.

But don't think I'm all that serious about art. Most important is to enjoy the process and have fun; otherwise there's no point.

【statistics】

I don't consider myself an incredibly active member but I check in every day, try taking track of what's going on in the community and post things

time to time.
