Hagatha is employed at Ever After High as the lunch lady and cook. She is in charge of the Castleteria kitchen, but she makes food for the school dances also. She is most likely a witch but it is unclear if she is or not. She looks similar to Trollsworth.

Personality

Hagatha doesn't speak a lot, but she is an expert at fixing meals for all sorts of palates and all sizes of stomachs. Porridge is always on the menu, as are curds and whey. Hagatha’s porridge is gray, gooey, and always lumpy, to the dismay of most students. Hagatha adds the lumps on purpose. A box labeled LUMPS sits on a shelf in the Castleteria’s pantry. The only person who likes the jiggly mound of porridge is Blondie Lockes, but it tastes slightly better if you add honey.

She mostly grunts. Her specialty is stone soup. It is a boring recipe, but Hagatha is not known for her inventive menus. She tends to cook bland, traditional foods. She’d never been nominated for chef of the year. In fact, her stone soup is known to give students stomachaches. An ogre who had a hankering for Hagatha’s stone soup once tried to sneak in to Ever After High.

Most students are in agreement that her food is terrible, but non-human students such as the three little pigs and three billy goats gruff enjoy it. Parents are also aware of how bad her cooking is. Hagatha’s cooking has been known to cause digestion issues, and Heaster Grimm is trying to raise money for her retirement fund. He says “The sooner she retires as lunch lady, the sooner our stomachs will recover.” According to Darling Charming, “If you drown Hagatha’s beetloaf in ketchup, it’s almost edible.”

Hagatha has also made “woodland stew” which tastes worse than it sounds and included real twigs. Hunter Huntsman chopped wood for her new wood-fired pizza oven.

Appearance

She is a short, plump, rather hairy old lady with a hunchback. Her hair is done up in a beehive. Once, when mice were set loose in the castleteria as a prank, a mouse became tangled in the hairnet covering her gray beehive hairdo. Even though she wears a hairnet, her long hair occasionally finds its way into the food. She has on sharp red glasses, yellow gloves, a greasy white apron and a purple shirt on with a vegetable pattern on it.
