Im not sure where she got her name, it was given to her when my trainer got her for free as a 5 year old. We just kept that name as she was used to it.

she’s a jumper/cross country horse. Mostly does lessons at my trainers barn.

Delta is owned by my trainer and she’s used as a lesson horse.

Delta is pretty much a thin horse. She has a pretty thick mane. She has always been like this, even when my trainer got her when she was 5 years old.

Delta is a chestnut mare. She’s not like the chestnut mare you would think of, she’s very sweet, loves attention and I could go on. She has two white socks, one on her front leg and one on her hind leg. She also as a cute little star on her head also.

Delta’s mane and tail and red. She has a thick mane and her tail is a little bit thick. We sometimes braid her mane to try and get it down on one side but right know she has a little mohawk from trying to get it on the right side.

Delta is in good health right now! She’s not lame and she doesn’t have any persistent issues currently

Delta doesn’t have any fears at all! The only time she gets scared is if there is something new out in an arena that she hasn’t seen before.

Delta is a very sweet mare. She will pretty much do what you ask her for the most part. Occasionally she will refuse a jump but that’s about it. She doesn’t get mad about being late for feeding, she’ll just stand at her grain bucket out in her pasture waiting and begging you for her grain.

history

We don’t know much about Delta’s history before us. We don’t know her parents, past training before my trainer got her. Delta was given to my trainer free as a green broke 5 year old. From there she put her intermediate to advanced riders on her and she would refuse every jump there was, now she will jump anything.

I started riding Delta about 3 years ago when I wanted to switch to English. When I started riding her my frisbee trusted her with every rider, including the five year olds. I had my first canter on her, took me over my first crossrail, my first vertical and oxer. I’ve done many firsts on her that I haven’t done before. Every lesson I ride Delta and I think I don’t ride any other horse because my trainer knows I love her
