What have we been up to these past few weeks?

Hello everyone!

I have not been very active for some time so I thought I would give you all a little update about what is going on right now and what kind of plans we have for the future.

:sparkles: Cardena :sparkles:

Me and my trainer decided that we should put Cardena in foal this year. The stallion that I chose for her is my trainer’s beautiful Animator. We think that they are a great match and complement each other very well. We bred her a few times and the vet should come out soon to check her.

When it comes to training, we have not been doing very much. I have ridden her a few times prior to breeding, but now she is just enjoying pasture time. I plan to pick up ground work again with her, but think that we should leave cavesson hanging for a while and take the rope halter. She needs some simple, basic work, that teaches to respond to the pressure calmly.

Overall, Cardena and I have been just enjoying each other’s company and not worrying about anything. I actually prefer it this way and love the calmness and consistency :two_hearts:

:sparkles: Kometa :sparkles:

You probably Kometa from my other post. Her owner gave her away to my trainer and now I get to work with her. We ride two times a week (only short rides in trot, some pole work) and do groundwork three times a week. With her I work according to the Human & Horse Method and she seems to pick everything up very quickly. Here is a couple of short videos from our first session together. I am very pleased with her and can not wait to see how she will develop in the future 🥰

I have bought a new camera and lens so my photography improved. I have been making photos and videos with my new camera for my trainer’s horse selling ads. I have also made myself a photography logo, that I can put on the photos that I take 📸

:sparkles: Rope tack making :sparkles:

I have finally gathered enough courage and put up some halters for sale. It might not seem like much, but it is quite a big deal for me and I am happy that I finally did it. If everything goes well, I plan to make an instagram , dedicated for making and selling rope tack :relaxed:

A lot of important and new things happened and still are happening. I am incredibly happy with these changes and can not wait to see what the future holds for us all :heart:
