Hey, hi, hello! It’s me Haylee! As in, Haylee and Flaire. I decided it was time for a change, so I fixed up my profile picture, name, and bio a bit. But I just wanted to let you guys know that it’s still me! Anyway, today is going to be a super fun post because..... we are doing a pony tournament!!! What is a pony tournament? Good question. Basically, I will be showing all of the horses I have video of participating in different activities, such as gaits and jumps and even fails! Say the first one is trotting. Once you have seen all of the videos of the horses trotting, type their name in the comment section (but don’t post it yet) and do the same for the other categories! Finally, the horse you voted for the most will be the winner of the Pony Tournament!! Let’s get started!

Round 1: Trotting

Flaire Bear

Flaire’s trot is very clean and elegant. Pleasing to look at and to ride, Flaire’s trot is loved by many therapy kids, along with myself and the few others that have ridden him. It is bouncy and quite fast, but super fun to ride! Although a bit on the front end in his trot, Flaire has nice strides and is balanced and strong in his trot. A very strong start to the competition with magnificent Flaire.

Cupcake

Isn’t Cupcake the cutest thing? Next, we have the sweet, adorable: Cupcake! Since she is so tiny, she has quick and small strides. It is a bit choppy, but looks very nice and the speed of her trot is always great. Not too fast or too slow. Cupcake’s trot basically sums up Cupcake: cute, tiny, with a bit of spice. Ps. don’t mind my terrible eq, this was from the summer :see_no_evil:

Maggie

Next, we have the beautiful Maggie! And probably the most comfortable trot I have ever ridden. Her trot is easy to sit and she carries herself beautifully in the trot. It is very clean and fluid and elegant and just amazing to ride. She is a good listener when it comes to leg, so her trot ranges from a few different speeds, but her average speed is a bit smaller than what is shown in the video. Maggie’s trot is my personal favorite, but everyone has different opinions!

Poppy

Oh, lazy Poppy. Here is our next contestant, Poppy! All the way from , this pony is a very lazy schoolmaster. His trot is pretty nice, although he is very strong in the mouth and is hard to get impulsion out of at first. His movements are very nice and overall comfortable to sit and to post. Poppy is another great contestant!

Butter

Another fun contestant! Butter is here to win! This mare is a feisty one with a very nice trot! Her trot is bouncy and forward, super fun to ride! It looks quite nice and feels even better! When you post to Butter’s trot, your seat is delightfully light and it feels like you are on a cloud. Butter’s trot is a great one!

Luvbug

Here’s a new one! Introducing Luvbug! This mare has a big personality, nicknamed shark! More about her later :wink: Unlike her personality, however, her trot is pretty generic. It is fun to ride, quite comfortable, but it is quite choppy and difficult to sit. Just like her, her trot is cute and amazing!

Paris

Another new pony, also a piebald! This is Paris, you may have recognized her from the wiki I made of her. Paris’s trot is comfortable to both sit and post. It is very smooth and very fun to ride. Although it is a bit difficult to post high on this pony, it is wonderful to sit and a beautiful trot.

Round 2: Cantering

Flaire Bear

Flaire is back in this round for cantering! With a lovely pace, strides, and balance, Flaire is a strong competitor this round. This is the slowest and most put together his canter has ever been, he is a speedy one and absolutely loves to canter! He just gets excited, as all! His canter is bouncy, fun, comfortable, high energy, and overall amazing!

Cupcake

Oh, Cupcake! :sweat_smile: This little pony can canter! Once she gets into the lesson and starts to jump, she gets a bit excited and doesn’t want to stop :joy: . Such a sassy girl. Cupcakes canter, like the rest of her gaits, is very short strided. Since she is so little, her strides are short and quick. Once she gets going, her strides lengthen and she has more impulsion from her hind end. I love her canter, especially when it is speedy, it is so comfortable and fun!

Maggie

Maggie is a funny one, she carries herself beautifully in the trot, but when it comes to the to canter, she has only a small amount of balance. It does look beautiful and it is beautiful to sit once you get her into it, but it takes a lot of effort fro both the horse and rider. Her canter is smooth and very nice. And you can see her personality in the canter :joy: ears pinned back, she is definitely a mare :joy: .

Poppy

My eq... I just- no. Please ignore the eq :joy: Yes I have much better eq on Poppy now since this is the summer, but those videos are really dark and it’s kinda hard to see since the sun sets at 4:30 and my lesson is at 6:00 :sweat_smile: . Anyway, we all should know by now that I am not a huge fan of Poppy, especially his canter. However, it might look better to you than it feels to me. It is very uncomfortable and awkward to sit, but on camera it doesn’t look half bad actually!

Butter

Next we have beautiful, spicy Butter! Yeah, I know, butter isn’t supposed to be spicy ( :joy: ). Butter is back this round and she is bringing us a beautiful canter. Her canter is smooth, comfortable, and so fun to ride! Once you are cantering her, you don’t want to stop! She is always so fun in the canter and even though she can get a bit on the front end, she behaves pretty well!

Luvbug

This pony is hilarious. It’s Luvbug’s turn and she is showing our best attempt at a canter. Wrong lead at the start so I had to change it, but we got the canter right back, which was great! She broke a lot this way in the canter, but I was told she is very hard in this direction. Her canter is a mixture of smooth and bouncy, it’s so hard to explain. But her canter is very fun, and the way she springs right into it is the cutest thing! And also very fun to sit!

Paris

Back with Paris, we have a beautiful canter. Her canter has short and smooth strides and is very comfortable to ride and to sit. She is such a fun one to canter around on and it feels just as wonderful as it looks. Paris has a great chance for this one!

Round 3: Jumping

Cupcake

I love this pony’s little jump! Back with Cupcake, she is springing over these jumps beautifully! Her jump is the cutest thing, literally. Since she’s so tiny, she has so spring off the ground more and lift her knees up a bit higher, really popping over the jumps. I love her jump sooo much, it is so fun to ride and fun too look at as well! A great chance for Cupcake this round!

Maggie

Maggie, again, is a funny one. She usually just plows straight through jumps, but once you encourage her enough and she gains confidence, she jumps up at them. These jumps were among the best I have even taken with her. She is very fun to jump once she jumps the jump properly. Especially in the canter, she is very very fun. And she gains energy too, which is great! We often have long spots while jumping in the canter, but those are honestly very fun to ride as well. Once when we had a long spot (in the trot) someone said, “Wow, she must really really like you,” and that made my day🥰. This round is going to be tight!

Poppy

Although Poppy isn’t my favorite horse to ride, his jump is pretty nice! When you add even more than a lot of leg, he gets going a bit better and he jumps the jumps beautifully. It is actually pretty fun to jump him. He does stop at them sometimes, but when he does go over them, it feels great! And he is a great one to work on your position with, which is what I have been doing in recent rides with him.

Butter

Let’s take another look at Butter, here is Butter whilst jumping! Her jump is so comfortable and fun, I always love jumping her. She has such a personality, and her jump definitely shows that. It has a bit of style in it, just like Butter. Just like the other contestants, Butter’s jump is great, so it’s going to be a very close call!

Paris

This little pony is quite similar to Cupcake! She is tiny and adorable, has small strides, and has an amazingly fun jump! Her jump, like Cupcake’s, is like a spring and pop over the jump. It is quite enjoyable and I love her jump so much! It gives you such an amazing feeling and it is just fabulous! Another great chance for Paris!

Round 5: Looks

Flaire is the gorgeous bay gelding, the one shown in the middle and to the left of the middle. He is both adorable and elegant :sparkling_heart: .

Cupcake is the tiny bay mare, located in two photos: bottom right and in the middle of the right column. She is adorable and beautiful :heartpulse: .

Maggie is in the middle of the bottom row. She is the beautiful black mare. Maggie is the most beautiful horse I have ever seen, she’s literally stunning🖤 :sparkles: .

Poppy (black/dark bay?) is located on the top left. Poppy is also very cute, especially his little face :heart: .

-Butter, in the middle of the top row. Butter is such a stunning color and an absolutely beautiful palomino :yellow_heart: .

Paris is in the top right corner! Paris is sooo adorable, just way too cute! And she is beautiful as well :purple_heart: .

It’s always been my dream to ride a piebald (along with a black mare) and thanks to Paris and Luvbug, that dream came true! And bottom left, Luvbug is so beautiful and so cute at the same time! :green_heart:
