Next few rides + falling lol

The past couple of weeks I have been riding Andraki, Topaz and a few more pons! I don’t want to make the topaz post just yet as I’ve only ridden her twice, hoping I’ll ride her again on sunday🤞🏼 but I’ll tell you guys about my other rides and my fall ahah I think it’s quite funny.

Princess

Princess is quite a moody mare pony and sometimes like to take chances. Since I am quite small and like crazy horses and ponies so they sometimes put me on the ponies when they need schooling because they’ve made children scared ahah.

This lesson we just worked on being steady and straight into jumps and on bends, Princess did pretty well and was super good! She just flies over jumps and makes it look easy :relieved: here’s a video of one line.

Andraki 1

So in this lesson we just decided to have fun and go cross country training while it was raining and superrr cold. Was super nice though! Andraki was super eager to jump everything. We were scared he wasn’t going to jump because he doesn’t like jumps with fillers :sweat_smile:

This was end of ride and you can see how eager he still was :sweat_smile: :two_hearts: I was on wrong leg to last jump but it doesn’t matter really in open field.

After ride I wanted to sit on him bareback, was a very brave move, first person to ever sit on him bareback ahah. Just stuck to walking as we were cooling down

Andraki 2

With this ride with Andraki we did almost the same exercise as the one with Princess but left out cross jump because striding wasn’t right for Andraki and we didn’t want to move the uprights (lazy people lifeeee) :sweat_smile:

After the jumping we decide we were going to do bareback... and to say the least it was quite interesting :skull: :sweat_smile:

For the most part of bareback ride it was good! We should note I was first person to ever ride him bareback!! He was superrr jiggly and I was not ready :sweat_smile: usually I’m good at bareback with topaz who is like triple size of Andraki.

Now... here’s for a fail lmaoooo

I was superrrrrr unbalanced going down from canter, almost fell of on left but got back up but didn’t sit up (whoops) soo he aimed for our step jump out the arena and I was like nopeeeee so I had to aim him away from that but when I did that I basically threw myself off by trying to turn him while hanging ahah. Can’t see the actual part when I fall on video but I basically bounced to other side of him and turned him away from step jump and slipped off, I got dragged a little and Andraki stood on my leg and eventually hit side of arena :sweat_smile: sounds like I cry at end but I don’t ahah, it was another kid laughing at me :sweat_smile:

I sustained this bruise from the fall when Andraki stood on me!! Never thought I’d get a bruise like this ahah. I am all good and such! Not in any pain.

Andraki 3

This was a really fun ride!! We basically just did gymnastics! We started of small and eventually got to about 95cm! After that we went for a gallop and Andraki found it very exciting ahah. He was super good and keen, I’m super proud of how he jumped!! My shoulders going into oxer is gross but ohwell ahah, Andraki is main thing!!

This jump is the highest he’s jumped in yearssss and highest I’ve jumped with him so far!! Super happy with him! The jump is almost size of him 🥰

Yes I did put pink on a gelding :relieved: he looked super handsome in it though soo don’t @ me :sweat_smile:

After the lesson I just spent time with him and started teaching him hug trick!!

Strawberry

In this ride it was my first time doing a course in months!! I also hadn’t ridden strawberry in forever so I forgot how much of a cracker pony she was ahah. Was super fun though, even though I almost died

This was one of our last jumps for the ride!!

Also thought I should show you guys a new arena that is being built at my yard!! :heart_eyes: it’s going to be 50m x 70m jumping arena🤤🤤
