New Pon... maybe

This is just going to be a short post about a very exciting thing that is probably happening.

So, I have been jumping 60 to 70 centimetres for the past 6 months, and it's getting a bit boring, because Bella does them with little to no effort. So I thought I'd try to go a bit higher, and I did, I went to 75cm. Bella was amazing but I could tell that 85cm was probably going to be her limit as she was putting a lot if effort in.

So, I was talking to my trainer and she thought I should try looking for a cheap schoolmaster. A schoolmaster, for those of you who don't know, is a horse that has been there, done that and is extremely well educated. Now, my family is not in the position to be buying a new horse, especially one that would cost anywhere from 3 to 7 thousand dollars. But then a few weeks later she messaged my Mum and was like, "I have a friend who has an 8 year old Warmblood mare, she's for free lease."

Obviously not the warmblood :joy: ^^

Mum talked to her some more and found out she was an 8yo, 15.2 to 15.3hh, chestnut Warmblood who had been jumping 90cm with no effort. That is a big step up from my 14.1 Arabian :joy: . We don't know her name or any markings in term if colour yet... which is very sad.... But anyways, Mum told me about her and I said, "I must have" (jk) so, we are gonna go see her soon! And when we do go see her, we are bringing a horse float :sunglasses:

So, in short, I may be getting another horse :satisfied: . We plan on possibly leasing out Flicka (because I don't think we could bring ourselves to sell her. And keep Bella and this Warmblood, I will still ride Bella in Sporting Competitions (mounted games) since she loves them so much, and a few showjumping comps here and there. Bell will give lessons to a few kids as well :blush: And I'll ride the Warmblood in eventing and also try her at sporting, cuz why not?

Aah I'm so excited and I will keep everyone posted on what is happening. Now just this is not 100% going to happen, I've had to keep telling myself that, but the chances are really really high. I will post pictures of her as soon as I get some. :blush:

Edit: I just got some disappointing news.. The lady who owns her (we will call her K) was keeping her at a friend's property. The FrIeNd decided to lease her out to some kids over the next two weeks. I am quite angry and so is K, since we had organised this for a week or two... I'm still getting her but in a few weeks... I'm really disappointed and annoyed (sorry I had to kinda rant)
