Jumping, Training and a Competition.

Today I'm talking about riding Bella, jumping a new height, and preparing for a competition that's in a week!

Jumping

So, I recently started jumping 70cm (2.3 or 2.4 feet) and Bella has been an angel! I've felt so comfortable doing it and we were both ready. Soon we will start doing 70cm courses at home and at comps.

I finally got a (bad) video of us doing the 70 jump. So enjoy!

Training

So when I say training I mean training for sporting and jumping. I have set up a few of the sporting games at home and Bella has been amazing. Also practicing getting a flying start for the events like barrel racing, bounce pony and drum and peg. And as for jumping I've been setting up courses at 65cm to practice at home.

A Competition

This competition is a gymkana and showjumping comp. It also has the stockmans challenge, showing, Shetland trot races and lots of stuff to do for people that aren't into horses. It's all to raise money for charity :)

I'm planning on entering all the gymkana comps with Bella and doing a 60cm course with her as well. I'm also considering bringing Flicka, because she needs more exposure to competitions. And I've already worked out mine and bella's outfit :wink:
