So i started preparing for a jumping competition in january and here are our 3 sessions so far! All the footage has been taken over the past month or so. Of course we closely watch her to make sure she's comfortable and it's not too much for her and guaranteeing she's in tiptop shape.

First time jumping

First time jumping she did really good! Tbh i was a bit scared as i havent jumped in 6 years, so we had a few refusals, but once we got over, we were all good and flew over them.

Second time

Here we started going a little higher (40 cm). I noticed i have alot of trouble getting the right distance but we will work on that =3

She's really starting to enjoy it more and more and also gets very strong and forward when she sees jumps.

She also did her first walk canter transition!

3rd time

You can really start to notice that when she sees just she immediately loses a bit of focus because she really wants to jump. We did full competition height (60 cm). We both weren't scared anymore and absolutely loved it!

So yeh that has been our jumping journey so far! I can't wait to do more! Well have one more session where my mom (international show jumping groom and worked for an Olympic jumper so she has dem knowledge) wil help me, then another physical appointment to make sure shes ready for competition and the the competition the 11th of January.

Thanks for reading and I'll keep ya updated =3
