first nrha show

hey ea!!

these past two weeks i have gone to my first nrha show! so let’s get into the blog!!

Day One

so i got to show mae and cade!! we did reining pattern 2 which was a pretty long pattern so that was that. i showed mae 1st, then cade. i got to watch a few goes before so i could see the pattern go a few times. then i went on her and she was great! we ended up scoring a 65 since they were being pretty tough!! then i went on cade. we went much faster than usual and overall he was really good! we ended up scoring a 67 and won the reining rookie class!! then we watched my trainer show his horse joe, and they got a 70 1/2!

Day Two

i showed mae and cade again on day two. i went on mae first and we got to show in the big indoor arena. she was awesome!! we ended up scoring a 68 1/2 with a few small bobbles!! we ended up winning the reining rookie! overall i was very happy with that ride!! then i showed cade in there too. he was very good other than a few rider errors (whoops :sweat_smile: ) and we ended up scoring a 65 1/2. overall they were both very good and we ended up winning the highpoint! i had a blast at my first nrha show!!
