Yesterday marks 6 years with Flicka! But wow, has it been a journey!

I there was a period where I was absolutely terrified to ride this pony. She wouldn't listen, she would turn sharply and barely knew how to trot under saddle. Little 8 year old me wasn't very impressed. We got her from NSW, she was shipped up to us and she arrived on a cold, rainy day.

I jumped onto her bareback and walked her around. She was quite a challenge and little me wasn't impressed. But hey, we got through. Had to teach her to trot, canter, jump, all the rest of it. But now. 6 Years on. We are going strong and this pony is the best one in the district :D

I love you so much Flicka, you have taught me more than any horse ever could have. Thank you
