Being new to the community I thought it best to do the #icebreaker & introduce myself sooner rather than later. On the forefront of things, if you’d ever like to chat don’t be afraid to send a message my way. Contrary to popular belief, I don’t bite :)

𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙚?

By default I use Poseidon here, which comes with its handful of nicknames, Popo & Posey are the most common. I do also go by Calder (Kol-duh) or Môr (more). Im not fussy with whatever’s used.

𝘼𝙜𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢?

20-24. I reside in good ol’ Britain. My family however comes from the lil’ mountainous country of Wales.

𝙁𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙀𝙥𝙞𝙘 𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙜?

A tough question when there are so many good songs in the musical. If I had to pick one favourite it would probably be “Get in the water”, though “Suffering”, “Monster” & “There are other ways” are strong contenders.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙘 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡?

A stage production or a fully animated movie would be really cool to see! Not sure of the likeliness of either of those things, but it would be really really cool to see. This musical definitely deserves the best treatment regardless of where it goes.

𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙢𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮?

I’ve been a huge fan of Greek mythos since I was young, especially in regard to all their gods. With gods for practically everything how could someone not be interested? The Olympians have some bazaar and fascinating tales behind them, even the more abstract gods are incredibly intriguing to read into. Needless to say Greek Mythology never lets you down in the realm of engaging narratives.

Listening to Epic as well as seeing all the work from the community has re-sparked my ion for Greek mythology! I can’t wait to dive in and continue to learn more about this winding mythos, god knows it’s quite a hefty load of stories and tales.

𝙒𝙝𝙤’𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙧?

I enjoy all the characters, however if I had to pick favourites it would definitely be Poseidon, Apollo and Hermes. I also like Hera but not enough to include her as a favourite, she just doesn’t have a lot of time nor intrigue to place her up there.

𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙊𝙙𝙮𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙮 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜?

The love for one’s family is an extremely powerful driving force. Perseverance & patience is key to overcoming obstacles life throws at you. Kinda gives you a bout of strength to push on and tackle whatever it is that’s holding you back, knowing you can get through it, and be stronger for it.

And that gods are hella petty-

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙘 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡?

I found out about the musical through the art and animation community. As an artist I browse through a lot of tags on platforms and see what other artists are interested in/ talking about, and Epic the musical was a constant topic within the community. With all the hype around it and my love for Greek mythos, I had to check it out -and fell head first into the deep end-

𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙨𝙪𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮?

The only suggestion I’d like to make would be to have a Title Shop here. I find the most enjoyable part of amino is the fact you have such a range of customisation to help express yourself, one of such customisations being titles.

𝙏𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙪𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛?

There isn’t too much to tell, not of interest anyway.

𖦹 As I said before, I’m a huge fan of everything Greek Mythos/ History related. In fact I’ve planned a trip this year to finally visit Greece! Indulge in the architecture and history that I love so much.

𖦹 I’ve pursued art as a hobby for about twelve years now, and studied it during my time in high school (ngl it didn’t teach me much. I learnt through my own studies and self growth). I also occasionally dabble in the realm of animation/ animatics.

𖦹 I’m very introverted, having severe social anxiety will do that to ya. However communicating online is a much easier task than in person- this excludes the interactions of VC’s. I find social interaction, even in its smallest forms, very exhausting. I’m also quite a reserved person.
