Just finished. First is before filling with white, glad I did use the white floss, looks better.

It's beautiful! I don't know anything about cross stitching, how hard is it to start?
It's not hard at all, easiest way to learn would be to buy a cross stitch magazine.
In the mag will be loads of projects, techniques for starting and finishing a thread, French knots and back stitch plus more.
Included will also be a card kit or two, I think they are perfect for learning, it will have everything you need.
