"So, you meet this 'Enigma'? Interesting" say Chen while writing something on a paper. "Just who's this 'Enigma'? I ask," I don't actually know because nobody ever meet him but I'm sure he's strong enough to destroy the entire world. To be honest, I'm just someone who cure diseases but this one" he stand and walk to me, "Is out of my control. Now, go East where you'll find a high mountain, on top of that lives a dragon, give that dragon this paper and he'll help you" Chen roll the paper and give it to me, "Don't you dare to open it midway, or you'll face the consequences" after he said I leave the room.
Outside the building, DK has waiting for me, with a girl beside him. She wear green clothes and bring green bow with a lot of arrows on her back. "That purist said he can't accompany you to get your objective but instead, he send this archer to accompany us" say DK. And I just realized that the Purist isn't in the room where I wake up. I look at the girl. She looks shy and doesn't let out a word, "Uhh...hi, I'm Yunero, and who are you?" "Lyralei" her voice is so low that I thought it was a whisper. "Now that you two know each other's name, let's get going before dark" DK lead the way with us following him from behind.
Before leaving the town, we visit a shop to buy something like Healing Salve and Pure Water to slowly restore mana. We also buy some enchanted raindrops. Legend says that this raindrop will protect you from heavy magic by absorbing it but it'll be gone once it absorb enough magic. After bought all needed stuffs, we go to East to start our journey.
"How long is our journey gonna be?" ask Lyralei, "I'm not sure but based on my calculation, it's around 3-4 days" "Whoa that's a pretty long time. But anyway, where are we heading now?" I ask. "White River, we have to cross it first", "Doesn't sound too dangerous", "Ha, you'll take your word once you see it for yourself". We talk and laughing all the way, understanding each other, time sure is fast when you're busy.
After some hours walking, we finally arrived at the White River. It's called White because the river is totally frozen. There's also a thick white fog that block our vision. It's pretty cold here too, probably more than -10°C. "Let me tell you two something, there's a small chance of you able to this frozen river, because it's not actually frozen" say DK, looking at our eyes. "But, it's totally solid wherever you see it" I say that while looking at the solid ice in front of me. "Do you know something called 'Magic'?" say DK, "This magic is used to fool people thinking that they're walking on a totally frozen water, but actually it's just an illusion. This cold temperature is also magic, if your magic resistance is strong, you won't feel this cold". "Then, how to cross this river?" I ask, "It's easy for me because I can change my form to dragon, but how about you two? Don't expect me to fly while you two on my back, I'm not a strong flyer, but at least I can bring one person on my back". Lyralei and me look each other, deciding who'll go with DK. "I'll go cross this river alone, you can go first, I'll catch up with you two later" say Lyralei, "No, you'll go with DK, I can protect myself, and I don't like to see a girl attacked", Lyralei doesn't say anything, she just nod "We'll wait for you at the other side of the river, just don't die" DK has changed his form and Lyralei go onto his back and they fly to the sky.
I pull my sword from it's sheath and walk into the thick white fog. My leg suddenly become cold as ice but still able to move. Even my face is so cold even though I wearing a mask. I keep walking forward, with my guard up, ready for any gank. There's no sign of any life form so far but I keep my guard up.
Suddenly, it's getting windy and more cold here. I stop for a while and look around, the fog is fading out and everything becomes clear. In front of me is a water falling from above and the source is covered by fog. "Crack" that's what I heard before I realized the ice I stepped on start to crack. I run forward without knowing where I'm heading. The fog surprisingly become thick again when I'm far enough from the waterfall. Even though I've run as fast as I can, the crack is fast enough to follow me. Unfortunately, the fog is getting thicker and I've to stop because I can't see anything. My hands were colder and shaking. I fall onto the ice due to my freezing leg can't hold my body. My mouth also freezed, unable to say anything. Until that moment, where the fog is start to fade and getting warmer. "You alright?" someone is talking, the voice is familiar, "As I thought, you can't outstand the cold" a fire come out and warming my body. After a while, i see someone with a bow come out from the fog, followed by a big shadow, a dragon. "Yunero, is that you?" say someone with a bow, "It's me Lyralei, we're near the other side, don't give up, follow us" she go back onto that dragon's back. I quickly run to follow them.
After some minutes, I finally get out from the fog. Lyralei and DK already waiting with a bonfire in front of them. I was surprised that the sky is now dark, just how long I've been there? "Hey, come here, I know you need this" DK walk to me and give me a cup of warm water. "Thanks" I drink the water, ahh it's so nice to warm yourself after a long cold journey. "You're lucky enough you don't find them" say DK, "Did you say something?" I ask, I was so excited that I didn't hear anything he said, "No, it's nothing, drink it and go warm yourself near the fire and go sleep, we'll have a long journey tomorrow".
