I resigned Wayne! Design wise, he has a handful of differences: His scar has been adjusted slightly, he has a torn lip on the right side of his face and his right eye is mostly blind, from that same injury. He also wears suspenders now! The last, and most noticeable change, is his physical disability. You may be able to tell that his left leg is a bit crooked, and that he uses a cane to walk now. To find out why he uses a cane now, scroll down to the bottom.
Now for game mechanic changes: Wayne always has his cane, he doesn’t walk anywhere without it, it isn’t an item. He is about .5x slower than other characters due to it, though. Something I forgot to add to his list of fears and sanity draining things, is that he takes triple the sanity drain from going into graveyards and digging up graves than other survivors do. When playing as him, the left side of the screen will/would be blurred, similar to how Wagstaff’s screen looks when he isn’t wearing his goggles. Yes, I do mean the left side, as it’s in *his* perspective, and while on our side of things it’s his right eye that’s blind, it’s actually his left for him.

Interesting fact, Wayne used to have a baby sister. When he was six years old, and his little sister was 8 months old, he was holding her when his father pushed him down the stairs. The baby hit her head on the floor, cracking her fragile skull, and died from blood loss. Wayne broke his left leg, and it never ended up healing properly, and is now permanently crooked. Therefore, he uses the cane to help him walk!
Also, have Wayne visiting his dad’s grave with his mother. For once, I didn’t draw him smiling.
