Heyo, kinda weird typing all of this again but it kind of painted an image that I didn't want to for my boy Buddy. Also fair warning for stuff that could trigger some people, obvious reference to abuse, and probably some brutal stuff. You've been warned, or at least I'm pretty sure this is good enough as a warning. ^^`

Darkness, all Buddy could see was darkness.....all day, everyday Buddy would only use his eyes when it was feeding time, which usually entailed only moldy bread and a very musky water, or what his father would call "endurance tests". By the end of those tests but he was usually nearly dead and leaking a liquid he's never exactly got to see before. Already accepted that this is all his life was going to be. Pain, food, darkness, pain, food, darkness, repeat, repeat! Buddy stopped fighting back a long time ago, there's nothing that he could do against him anyways..... On one of the nights after one of the so-called tests his father decided to surprise him with a few stab wounds, strangely enough afterwards a radio that Buddy didn't even know was in the corner of his slightly cramped room spark to life, a more accurate description would be a scrap pile that used to be a radio.

"Hey there pal, looks like you could use some help."

Buddy went wide eyed as he pressed against the wall he was chained against, he was stunned that there is was actually someone in his room, and to be more specific inside a broken radio. After a few seconds of panic he nodded slowly, unsure of he could necessarily trust the voice on the weird destroyed radio.

"Woah there pal, I'm here to help you, all I need is from you is to break those chains of your and come over here, if you do that I can get you out of this wretched place."

Buddy seemed to hesitate a bit, he wasn't sure if this was a good idea, but he decided to try it anyway, he pulled on the chains that were attached to his ankles as hard as he could, while they were well made they were also very Rusty and but he could hear a few popping noises from them. Progress! The sweet sound of progress was nearly music to Buddy's ears, even if he hasn't necessarily heard music before. Buddy seemed to recover something he thought he completely lost long ago, hope for a chance to possibly see something other than Darkness and the blue flames of his father's cigars. Buddy continue to pulling even if it was digging into his ankles, even if it hurt he was still going to keep going, after a little more effort his right ankle came free with a loud cracking noise from the metal snapping apart, a few moments after that his left ankle came free with a loud snap as a part of the metal tore apart. Buddy then crawled over to the broken radio, a little smile on his face as he waited for the radios next instruction.

"Good job, now hold still won't you?"

He felt the sensation of being grabbed by his wrists and his ankles, he looked confused as he felt them tug on him and try to lift him up, only for them to fail and just make him stand on the front of his feet.

"Impossible! I should only need one of them for this but not even four can do it?! And you're weaker than normal currently!" The voice definitely seemed angry.

Buddy shrugged, followed by many more shadow hands grabbing him and lifting him up.

"No matter, on to the chess board you go, send the survivors my regards if you would." The voice cackle as Buddy was dropped.

Buddy expected to hit the floor, he flinched in anticipation for the hard cold floor, only for him to keep falling, and falling, and falling. Buddy could tell that something was off now, he wasn't entirely sure what but there was definitely something wrong, he was about to possibly say something out loud but he was quickly silenced by him stopping all of a sudden and then moving in a different direction, at least the dark didn't scare him anymore, otherwise this would be one of the most terrifying things ever.

Many minutes ed, each more nauseating than the last. The feeling of moving so much in such a little time was extremely new to Buddy, or moving much at all for that matter.

Buddy had covered his mouth and tried not to think about it, he just kept thinking about how he needed the toughen up and quit acting like a baby about it.

after what felt like the days upon days but in reality was at the very most 30 minutes Buddy saw something, could his eyes be deceiving him? Or did he see light? Real light?! But he seem to get excited as he realized he was moving towards it. Finally! He could see all the wonders of the outside world!

Guess what, to be continued! I'm so sorry to cliffhanger like this but that's just how I get you to read the next one aye? XD
