The Dog Encyclopedia

Based on extensive genetic studies done in 2010, it is believed that the dog is descendant of other wolf-like canids in Eurasia over 40,000 years ago. Dogs preform many roles for humans, such as hunting, herding, pulling loads, protection, assisting police and military and helping handicapped individuals.

Because of this impact on human society, dogs were able to earn the title of "man's best friend" in the Western world and now all over the globe.

I officially welcome you to Pa's official dog encyclopedia. This will be an intereactive blog where you, the s of Pet's Amino, will be constructing the encyclopedia.

To have your page linked on this blog, you will have to write your own blog on a specific dog breed. In your blog, you should state what catagory the breed is found in (work, toy, hound, etc) along with information about the breed.

Topics should include but not be limited to history of the breed, origin, personality, appearance, etc. Don't forget to add pictures!

:white_small_square: You can look up information on the internet, but NO copy pasting. Anyone found copy pasting will be removed from the encyclopedia.

:black_small_square: Try to use proper grammar and punctuation in your blogs.

:white_small_square: You can make multiple blogs about different breeds if you wish. Only one breed per blog.

:black_small_square: First come first serve for dog breeds. If two people post the same breed, I will pick the person who posted their blog first.

:white_small_square: If you decide to do multiple dog breeds, please make a seperate blog for each breed.
