Some films are meant to be a trilogy and nothing more then that as any additional film only does more harm to the franchise in question then it does good. With that being the exact same case with the film that i'm going to be talking to you all today as the first three films in franchise are all perfect films and yet Disney and PIXAR still insisted on making a fourth and soon to be fifth film and so then me as I review the film that really should have been the final film in this franchise with the film in question being called simply just "Toy Story 3" enjoy.
The plot of this film is when Andy is going away to college Woody and friends accidentally get donated and have to find there way back home before it's far to late. Now then in of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this films plot being the perfect plot to end what would have been a really perfect trilogy of films as it not only ties up all of the stuff with Andy but it also allows the franchise to keep on moving forward by introducing a new kid for the toys to live with with this films plot not afraid to be grown up something that was also true for the previous two films as well as they were both not afraid of being adult and mature something that the fourth film was afraid to be with that being due to the fact that the makers of this film actually know what there doing and aren't afraid of giving us an actually plot that ties up the trilogy in a nice little bow with this films plot being as fully developed as it really needed as this is a plot that did need to be fully developed in order to work and because it is a fully developed plot it works perfectly with even the idea of having Andy be grown up working because those of us that watched the first film when we were young are now grown up as well with the plot of this film also being really rather entertaing and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Tom Hanks as Woody , Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear , Joan Cusack as Jessie and Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head. Also starring in this film is Wallace Shawn as Rex , John Ratzenberger as Hamm , Estelle Harris as Mrs. Potato Head , Ned Beatty as Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear , Michael Keaton as Ken , Jodi Benson as Barbie , Blake Clark as Slinky Dog , R. Lee Ermey as Sarge , Laurie Metcalf as Mrs. Davis , Bea Miller as Molly , Emily Hahn as Bonnie , this films director Lee Unkrich as the Jack-In-The-box , Teddy Newton as Chatter Telephone , Woody Smith as Big Baby , Whoopi Goldberg as Stretch , John Cygan as Twitch , Jack Angel as Chunk , Jan Rabson as Spark Richard Kind as the Bookworm , Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants , Kristen Schaal as Trixie ; Jeff Garlin as Buttercup ; Charlie Bright , Amber Krone and Brianna Maiwand as the Peas-in-a-Pod , Bud Luckey as Chuckles and John Morris as Andy.
Now then in of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this films actors turning in some really good performances which is something that really does make alot of sense as the overall majority of this films actors are reprising their roles from the previous two films and would therefor know how best to perform there respective characters and those that aren't are a bunch of really good actors in their own right which is something that's always been true with the other two films as well as the actors for the other two films this one included always includes actors that are just really good actors in their own right with the best actors in this film being Tom Hanks as Woody as he really does fully understand his character so much so that it's hard to picture anyone else voicing the character in the movies even tho his own brother Jim Hanks has played Woody in various video games and TV shows with the best actor from the new actor being Ned Beatty as Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear as Lotso is just such a creepy villain and seeing someone who is still mostly known for lighthearted comedic roles play him does work to this films advantage as Ned is just such a good actor in his own right with the acting that's in this very film really being helped by the fact that this films script is just so good that all this films actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Doing the animation for this film is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Pixar Animation Studios. Now then in of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty fantastic which again is something that's true not only for all of the Toy Story films but also for all of the PIXAR films as well as they all have some really nice and stunning animation to them with this film being of no exception to that rule as all f the films characters have never looked better then they do in this film with the quality of animation in this film being so high that at times it does look like live action even if it still has that unique PIXAR look to them and while PIXAR have leaned more into doing the CalArts style of animation in there more recent films this film right here does prove that they had there own unique look that was perfect for these films as all of the characters not only look different visually but act and move differently as well with those small touches going a long in the grand scheme of things and it's something that shouldn't be lost with even the fur on Lotso's body looking so good that at times it does feel like that you can just reach out and touch them and that is something that is kind of lost in more recent animated films and yet here in this film it's what makes the animation stand out as opposed to just doing what every other animation studio was or is doing PIXAR proved that you can do your own thing and still be a good film as long as you had the basics to telling a good story down and that's something that this film does wonderfully.

Look to but it bluntly this franchise didn't need a fourth film and it doesn't need a fifth film either as there's no more story left to tell. With the only reason that the film got made and that the fifth film is being made is because of the fact that these films make money at the box office and that's it when that shouldn't be the case at all as PIXAR themselves stated that they never do a sequel unless they have a story that's better then the one that came before and i'm sorry but somewhere along the line they just straight up forgot that message as there more recent sequels have had stories that are inface inferior to the ones that came before with Toy Story 4 being a prime example of that as it doesn't add anything to the story or the world and was there just to explain where Bo Peep was after the events of Toy Story 2 and that's it and that's not enough to justify making an entire movie as you very easily could have done a short film for this films DVD and Blu-Ray release that explains exactly that but because of the fact that this film made money it meant that we had to get a fourth film only now without a single one of the original creative team involved and that is something that sets that film apart from the first three films as these first three films where made by people who had a deep love for these characters and who wanted tell a genuinely great story with these characters and the fourth film was made by people who only cared about making money and had no love for the characters and because of that we ended up with a pointless film and now we're getting a fifth film which again is something that we don't really need so maybe it's time to let these characters go and to stop making Toy Story movies and this is coming from someone who loves these movies.
This films villain Lotso is a genuinely good villain as not only is a he a pretty creepy villain in his own right. He also is pretty evil as the only thing he wants the most in this world is a place that he can rule with an iron fist and yet because of his deep routed hatred of all kids whenever a toy comes along that feels differently he gets rid of them effectively making him a mafia boss with him doing whatever it takes to get what he wants even if it means causing pain and misery to those that are closest to him and while it would have been nice to see Woody and the gang get their own form of payback on the characters for everything that he's put them through that go against who they are as characters as there not the type of characters who would do such a thing and in it's own way seeing Lotso get strapped to the front a of truck is his own form of payback as now not only does he not have the one place that he rules with that iron fist he's now a laughing stock and has lost any and all power that the character had at the start of the fil with the very fact that he starts out as this genuinely nice character who really makes you want to trust him only to get more and more evil as the film goes on only adding to the overall creepiness of the character with him perhaps being the best villain that these films have ever had as he's very effective and knows exactly what to do to people who betray him even for a second and because of that he can come across as being quite the frightening villain and while he has no end goal in mind he doesn't really need one as it could be argued that he's already achieved his end goal by the start of this film.

There would be no way to do a review of this film and not talk about the two very highly emotional moments in this film. As this is a film that will and has made adults cry with the first of those being the scene where the toy are in the furnace and they each grab each others hand thinking that they will die which is just such a highly emotional scene as we the audience grew up with these characters and to see them put into a situation where the only seeable outcome is them melting basically will always be highly emotional so much so that I myself was nearly brought to tears again when watching this film for this very review with the other very highly emotional moment being when Andy drops his toys of at Bonnie's and he finds Woody in the box with all his toys which again is such a huge emotional moment due to the fact that we've spent the past two movies with these characters and have gotten to them as Andy's Toys and now to see not only a fully grown up Andy but also one who has to do the one thing that we've all done and that's give up our toys as that one moment when Andy hands over Woody to Bonnie signifies him no longer being a kid and becoming an adult with both of these moments being perfect as one of them has us almost crying tears of sadness for the potential loss of these characters and the other has us crying tears of joy as now get to see these characters live on with a new kid that they could make very happy as well with both of those moments only working because of the fact that we've spent alot of time with all of these characters and as we've grown up so has Andy and as we gave up our toys and our favorite toy so did Andy.
Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and forty two minuets and thirty three seconds. Which is the absolutely pitch perfect running time for this film to have as this film really does have the right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time with this film even using it's running time very wisely as well as it does spent alot of time on just developing the plot of the film alone and it's characters which is something that it really didn't have to do as the characters where already as fully developed as they really needed to e thanks to the previous two movies and the film even dedicates alot of it's time just to develop the new characters as well which is a smart move as it means that the new characters do have some sort of a personality like Trixie who is quite literally the female version of Rex only more brave and Mr. Pricklepants a stuffed hedgehog toy that think's he's a Shakespearean actor which just that idea alone is more then funny and while it's not the only thing about the character it is the one that does goes leaned into the most and for good reason as it is a genuinely funny character trait and it is something that does work within the context of the film with the film even spending the time to give Lotso a believable origin story which does make you both hate the character and somewhat understand where he's coming from as well something that the makers of this film really didn't have to do with all of this combined gives us the audience a reason to care for all of this films characters be it because we hare them or because we really love them there is something that we will all feel for quite literally any one of this films main characters but I really will it that this film really does ave som really goo pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With this film having quite alot of really laugh out loud moments in it none of which undercut the tone of the more dramatic scenes infact for a large portion of the film the film has no jokes in it but you don't miss them because of the fact that the rest of the film is equally as good be it from the fact that the toys accidentally switch on Buzz's Spanish mode or even the fact that Trixie is talking to another dinosaur down the street there are plenty of cute funny moments in this film and all of them because of the fact that the makers of this know these characters inside and out and because of that little bit knowledge all of this films jokes feel true to who these characters are as characters with none of them feeling out of place with the best joke in the whole entire movie coming near the end of the film where Jessie whispers to Woody that she's going to have alot of fun just because of the fact that she knows about Buzz's Spanish which is something that he has no clue about and during the films end credits she does get to work messing him by playing the Spanish version of "You've Got A Friend In Me" and while there is one joke in there that adults will get that's the only joke like that in this film with all of this films jokes being funny jokes that the whole family will get and love as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall with the first film being a whopping thirty years old this year it is astounding that Disney and PIXAR have continued to try and tarnish the legacy of these first three films by releasing subpar sequels and spinoffs with this film being the last truly great Toy Story film as it not only recaptures the magic of the first film it's also just a really good film in it's own right as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 10 out of 10 from me.
Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official PIXAR fandom wiki page , the official Disney fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images really from this very film being the really great the official Disney fandom wiki page this is really because of the fact that really all of the images that I really indeed got and really used from the really great the official Disney fandom wiki page are all really high quality really with all of the images that really are all and of course really currently up and on the really great and the really solid the official Disney fandom wiki page really are all being really fairly high in quality and as well as them all really being fairly high in definition.

Nice review! Toy Story 3 is on my Top 10 Pixar Movies list, so it’s one of my favorites.
I definitely agree with you that it should’ve been the last Toy Story movie to be made, due to the fact that the ending of the third movie also made a perfect ending for the toys’ journey. Any movie that’s been made/is going to be made after that is unnecessary, in my opinion. Personally, I think Disney/ Pixar’s just making more Toy Story movies as excuses to sell more merchandise and market the characters more.
Except they don't have to as the characters market themselves due to these first three movies.

I agree.
