I Spy With My Little Eye - Prince Eric Art

Just wanted to post a thing about the Little Mermaid because it’s been like a century and a half since I’ve posted. This is Prince Eric looking out at sea.

I wanted to consider putting Ariel into the art, but I suppose you can’t win them all. Or can you? There may be some secrets to find in it, who knows…?

It’s very rough, but there’s always room for improvement and I hope that I’ll get better as time goes on. And on. And on and on and on…

Proof:

I started off by making the ocean, it seemed like an appropriate start to the drawing.

Next, I made the sky and sun as the background. Afterwards, I included the wharf/deck to establish some form of land to contrast with the sea.

After drawing that, I wanted to include some rocks protruding from the sea. I finished up by adding some characters, as well as some effects to give it a foggy morning appearance.
