I am ☆ℓσя∂ нαℓℓσω☆! Friends call me Lori, or at least they would if I had some. And I'm back with another exciting blog, this one actually being a tutorial that fits within our little Feature Feed Tutorial week!

Today we shall be focusing on how to get your art posts featured, this can apply to drawings, paintings, aesthetics, edits and more, but specially for drawings and paintings! I tried to make the tutorial as simple, so I hope it’s easy to understand. But, if any of you have any doubts don’t hesitate to ask down in the comments!

How To Get My Art Featured?

If you have read previous blogs this week, then you’d probably already know the basic steps/rules on how to get any of your posts featured. Well, first of all you need to follow the Feature Worthy requirements, which are to have TWO good sized (10-13 lines) paragraphs as a minimum, and at least one image (picture or gif). As long as you have both of these requirements your blog has high possibilities to get featured in the Front Page, otherwise known as the Featured Feed!

What Can I Talk About?

When it comes to art posts, it can be a little hard to write at least two good sized paragraphs, since well, you just want to share your art with everyone in the community. So, to answer the question above, one can start the blog with a small introduction for either yourself or the blog! Secondly you’d want to start talking about your art (drawing, edit, etc.), it doesn’t matter where you start, but you could perhaps begin with explain what your art consists off, something like this:

“On my art, which I will show in a moment, you can see the Parr family (The Incredibles) getting ready to fight against a villain.”

It doesn’t really matter how you start talking about your art, but it is always recommendable to explain what your drawing, edit, etc. consists off and what you are trying to express! Some other things you could talk about are the following:

☆ Where your inspiration came from?!

☆ The time you spent working on it!

☆ Why you decided to do this art!?

☆ Your personal opinions on it!

And more! The options are really endless, but those where just a few ideas on what you could talk about. Now then, now that that’s off the table we should head to the next point, which is REALLY important to consider.
