Hello Sister Strangers! It is I, the strangest of them all, the not talented No U Queen, the most pog performer, Benadryl Cucumber! If you do not wish to call me that, feel free to call me ollie! Today I will be applying for the Debate Club! Lettuce start.

I'm not that comfortable saying my real name on here, mainly because I hate it. But, on Amino, I go by Ollie. My pronouns are she/he/they. Although, I don't really mind if you get my pronouns wrong.

I wish to the Debate Club for a few of reasons. The first reason is I feel it would be a good experience for me. Even though I haven't had that much experience with debate, I'd be happy to . ing this club would most likely give me more experience with debates. I could possibly use my experience from the club in the future. The second reason is because debate seems interesting. Another reason is so I can see people's opinions and get to know them better from their opinions. Yet another reason is because, it's fun to edit, but it gets old. I'd like to be in a club that doesn't revolve around editing for once. As for what will happen if I the club, I think I'd be a good member. I see myself as easy to get along with. If I the club, I would be able to participate in the weekly group discussions, based on what time they are. I'd preferably like to know what times the discussions are going on, due to me not being able to be on Amino (electronics in general) every minute of the day.

I'd bring some good things to the club. Pretty much all of the things I'd bring to the club would be possible. English and Language arts is probably my best class in school right now. I am about to go to an honors class for it in the second semester. I give detailed responses for discussion questions, and go deep into the details. I also can give . Based on what the person asking for is looking for as a response, I don't know if it'll be exactly what they are looking for, but I will try and do my best when giving on an opinion. I have experience from defending myself from real life arguments and debates.

I'd honestly be fine with any topics. Theories and opinions on characters are my best interest, though. There are a few ideas I have in mind for debates. Here are a few of them!

•Is Joy the villain of Inside Out?

This is honestly one topic that I think you could get a good debate out of. Mainly because of people having opinions. Some people think that Joy is not the villain of the movie, while others do.

•An opinion on any disney movie.

Due to the fact that a ton of people watch Disney movies, it is no surprise as to everyone having different opinions on them. I'd love to see what people think about my favorites.

•Did Thanos make the right decision?

Wiping out all of our favorite characters? In that case, no, Thanos did not make the right decision. But, logically and realistically speaking, did he actually make the right decision?

I have a few reasons for liking debating. Reason one is because I like seeing other's opinions on things. I enjoy encouraging people to step out of their comfort zone and speak their thoughts. I also like how people's opinions are respected in the club. It's very nice to know that you can give your opinion without people being disrespectful about them. The next reason is because you get to bond with people who agree and have the same opinion as you, as well as the people on the other side. It's enjoyable talking to people who have the same thinking as you, and you know one more thing about them than you did before. You get to see their detailed thoughts and explanations for what they believe. Seeing other people debate can also give you examples on how to improve in debating.

My time zone is EST. I currently am allowed to only 2 hours of time on the electronics during the weekends, and until 6 pm on weekdays. Except if my parents make an exception of some sort allowing me to have more time.

Or except I can get away with sneaking on my stuff for longer.
