So I thought I would just give a lesson about Skyrim itself. In Skyrim you have four immortal beings:
The Dov
Deadra's
Eadra's
Gods
Now Eadra's and Deadra's have the same power as Gods, but there's one difference. Eadra's and Deadra's interfere with Mortals and most of them can even appear in the Mortal realm. While the Gods or Divines as they're called cannot directly interfere with Mortals. Deadric princes have their own realms in one bigger realm called Oblivion.
It's said that Eadra's are good and Deadra's are bad, but that isn't really true Meridia (the Deadric prince of light) is considered the only one that isn't evil. There are many Deadric princes, but there are eight or nine Divines. How many Divines there are is determined by whether you consider Talos a God or not. There's a bloody Civil War because of that.
Now Deadric princes and Divines that are important in the history of Tamriel.
Mehrunes Dagon, Deadric prince of chaos, destruction and revelution. He tried invading Tamriel many times. The last time he started the Oblivion crisis Akatosh took from of a Dovah to defeat him.
Akatosh he's the creator of the Dov and the first one to receive the gift of Dovahkiin was Emperor Tiber Septim.
Talos he was the one that found peace and created the Empire when he was still Mortal.
Sheogorath Deadric prince of Madness. He caused red Mountain to errupt in Solstheim.
And that's the list. Now Deadric princes have artifacts. Things that they have created here are few examples.
This are the artifacts of the Deadric princes that I've listed above:
Meridia: Dawnbreaker a powerful sword against the undead.
Mehrunes Dagon: Mehrunes' Razor a strong dagger.
Sheogorath: the Wabbajack a staf that has a random effect on your enemies. It can literally turn them into rabbits.
