Ayy. I've decided to enter this little challenge. I doubt I'll win due to my rather different taste in music, but what the neck I'll give it a shot.
I found this to be a very good and fitting song for ole Tockman. The line "Just a few seconds away..." Really stands out since Clock King has a lot of time related schemes. And since Mudvayne is pretty much my favorite band, this song gets bonus points!
If Mudvayne isn't my favorite band, then Disturbed is. The word "time" is mentioned about 487 (No pun intended) times in this song, so this song immediately came to mind when I thought of a Clock King Playlist. And also, the line, "You'll never meet another like me." is very true for this character since he is one of the more unique DC villains.
Rolling Stones - Time is In My Side
Who doesn't like Rolling Stones? Anyways, the line "Time is on My Side" which is repeated throughout, fits Clock King perfectly, since it's exactly what time is to him: his ally. Also, the song has a slow and soothing vibe which is nice.
Stone Temple Pilots ft. Chester Bennington - Out of Time
Yes. This song is sung by the late great Chester Bennington. You're welcome. Also Stone Temple Pilots are my favorite Grunge band ever. Anyways, the lyrics seem very villainous in my opinion, and of course "You're running out of time!" Instantly makes me think of this character.
I thank the wrestler Kane for introducing me to Finger Eleven. They are such a good band! But anyways, this song for Clock King because of always coming up short against any hero he faces. Also, the song's name had "Time" in it. lol.
