Jimmy Olsen: The Blue Lantern - Chapter One

Location: Space Sector 2184

Sister Sercy is on her way to deliver an important message to Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and Guy Gardner who are all currently on earth. But she's ambushed by Arkillo.

She tries to fend off Arkillo, but he over powers her. She makes one last attempt to fly to earth, but Arkillo constructs an axe and lodges it in her abdomen.

"Can't have you spoiling the surprise" Arkillo says with an evil chuckle.

He flies off to meet with the other Yellow Lanterns. Sercy holds up her ring, and with her dying breathes, she leaves a message for the next person who wields the ring.

"For whoever my ring chooses, you must deliver a message to the Green Lanterns on Earth, the Blue Lanterns are under attack and the Sinestro Corps seeks an ancient power on Odym, if the Sinestro Corps finds the ancient power, the damage could be catastrophic, please deliver this message, and welcome to the Blue Lantern Corps" She says.

And with that, she es away and her ring flies off towards Earth.

Location Metropolis

There's chaos currently happening in Metropolis. Parasite and Superman are currently fighting in downtown Metropolis. Lois Lane and Jimmy are on the scene reporting the fight as it happens.

"Jimmy, get the camera rolling!" Lois yells.

"We're live" Jimmy replies.

Lois tries to collect her thoughts as the chaos ensues behind her. She looks directly into the camera.

"This is Lois Lane on the scene of the incident, Parasite and Superman are currently battling and by the looks of it, Superman is losing" Lois says.

Superman lands an uppercut, knocking Parasite back a few feet. Parasite rips a nearby stop sign out of the ground. He lunges towards Superman and stabs him through the chest with the sign.

"No!" Lois yells.

"Clark.." Jimmy says.

He suddenly sees a blue glowing ring heading straight for him.

"What the heck?" Jimmy says.

The ring attaches itself to Jimmy, and he's suddenly transformed into a blue and black suit, with the logo on the ring on his chest, and a mask forms over his eyes. Lois looks away from the blinding light. He feels the power, coursing through the ring.

Just as Parasite is about to deliver a killing bite to Superman, Jimmy constructs a sword and hits Parasite with it.

"Woah, how did I do that?" Jimmy says to himself.

Parasite gets back up and spits out some blood. He charges straight towards Lois but Jimmy constructs a hand and grabs Parasite, he then smashes him into the ground, rendering him unconscious.

"Jimmy, how the heck did you do that?" Lois asks

"I don't know..." he replies.
