Talk a bit about yourself. What are some of your hobbies? Favorite foods? Etc.

Goodness, what do I cover? Let's see.... in of hobbies? I do a variety of things.

•For starters, I do a lot of reading. I'm definitely a book worm.

•I also do some writing? I mostly use this skill in roleplay. I'm not much of a fanfic writer, but I do enjoy writing a random prompt or two once in a while

•Which brings up roleplay, if you count that as a hobby? It's all in perspective, I think.

•I also draw? I've made one or two posts recently.

What brought you to the amino?

I really just stumbled upon the amino? I wanted to find a decently sized community with people to roleplay with. This one seemed pretty quiant and cozy and- boy- was I right. This amino has a nice atmosphere and I'm definitely glad that I stepped in and gave this community a shot!

What got you into DC?

It's a bit cliche, really. As you'd expect, I was a big fan of Batman and the Flash. The older I got, the more interested I grew in their predecessors.

So, really, my interest in DC grew when I became intrigued by all of the Robins, Kid Flash, and Impulse. From there, I found other characters I loved, I read up on them, started watching movies, and it just snowballed from there.

Do you enjoy heroes or villains more?

I tend to lean towards the heroes. My interest in DC started with them, so that's where it tends to stay. Though, thats doesn't mean I don't ire villains!

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for characters like The Riddler and Scarecrow.

Still, I favor more heroes than anything.

Who are your favorite/least favorite characters, and why?

My favorite character?

That's a tough one...

If I had to pick on a whim, it would be Tim Drake.

Tim wasn't the first Robin I learned up on. But he wasn't the last either. I thinking at first-

"Wow, this guy is nuts! No sleep until collapsing? Living off of coffee just to avoid a little rest? Jeez!"

But then, as I got older and life took its ups and downs, I realized that I'm going through college and doing the same sort of thing!

I dunno. I found it kind of funny and a bit ironic that I thought a sleep schedule like that was insane when there are many nights I stay up into the ungodly hours of the night to get a little more work done.

But my least favorite character?

That's an even tougher question...

I think I would have to say Lex Luther? Which is ironic because Conner Kent is such a great character and is only around because of him.

It just always gave me a weird vibe to know that Lex was willing to steal DNA and make a cross between him and Clark?

Then again, I guess its not as bad as Talia with Bruce, right? 🤔

Well, I never liked Talia either so.... moving on!!

What are some of your favorite/least favorite TV shows or movies, and why?

My favorite movie...

Definitely Batman VS Robin. For one, I love that series of animated movies. But The Court of Owls have always been a favorite villain group of mine.

After watching that movie, I've been working on learning more about them and advancing my overall knowledge of the court so I don't go blabbering and make myself look silly.

My least favorite movie...

Under The Red Hood. Don't get me wrong! I love Jason and I appreciate the movie because it's one of only a FEW things that the guy is in.

But I never liked the ending and, I don't know if it's just me, but while I loved the fact Neil Patrick Harris voiced Dick, I did not like the character design.

Overall, I can respect the movie for the light it tried to shine on Jason and his story. There are just a few things that has bumped it down on my list compared to other movies.

Do you have any hopes for the future of DC?

Hopes? Well... if I had to pick one, its that I hope the animate more ... I suppose underrated characters?

They've done a little more with Jason, so I appreciate that. But I'd love to see more characters like Artemis Grace, Conner Kent or Jaime Reyes? Maybe even Tim Drake? Bart? I know they're in a couple movies and they're relatively prominent. But that's just my opinion and there are a variety of other characters that really do deserve rhe spotlight a little bit more.

What is your favorite comic series

I haven't had too many chances to delve too deep into a comic series, mostly because I've dipped my toes into a couple of them and every time I start a series I find another and have to see what it's about.

But it would be a toss up between Red Hood and the Outlaws and Super Sons.

What is the most recent DC related thing you've read or watched? Did you enjoy it?

The most recent thing I've watched was Death in the Family..

I did enjoy most of it, especially since it gave Jason some attention and shows what potential paths his life could have taken if his story had panned out any different.

There were really only a few minor things I disliked. The biggest one being that the endings trailed off and left much to be desired. But that's just because I'm a greedy fan and always want more.

Do you have any plans for your time here on DCU Amino?

Plans? Well, mostly just drawing and maybe finding a good roleplays. I just kind of go with the flow of things and see where I end up. So, I guess we'll both just have to wait and see, huh?
