Inspired by Fate’s post that did the same :3

I seeing stuff about Dauntless for ages but always thinking it was one of those PC exclusives that would never make it to console so I didn’t really worry about it even though it looked fun as hecc.

I was really excited to play when it released on the 21st of May 2019 for consoles but I didn’t get to play until the 24th. It was difficult cos I insisted on beating everything solo despite not being that familiar or experienced with how behemoths fought despite alot of experience fighting the monsters of monster hunter.

I kept at it and stuck it out, learning movesets, powering up my cells and upgrading my armor and weapons. Getting to +10 on armor can be really fast but oh my, you gotta be on that behemoth mastery grind to break +10 xD I didn’t really start really pursuing behemoth mastery cards til June and took a long break from behemoth mastery grind when I hit +14 cos it was another 6 behemoth mastery levels to +15 armor.

My biggest tip would be that most of the power in this game is tied to cells and perks- while there are standout weapons like riftstalker, hellion, rezakiri, drask etc. It is the perks that will take those weapons or your survivability to the next level.
