In the interest of transparency, I was appointed to Leader by Team Amino.

As almost everyone who has been here for a while knows, there was only one leader and only one curator- both of which were inactive- this led to people creating other communities which would have active and present leadership.

My timezone is UK Gmt+0 and I work 32 hours a week. I appreciate there should always be a leader or curator present to regulate and feature posts, deal with issues as they come up and promote activity within this Dauntless community.

I am going to start off with accepting leader and curator applications. I am looking for 2 new leaders and 4 new curators.

Please use the following question template and state whether you would like to be considered for a leader role, a curator role or either.

Also that either involves a level of work or time commitment you may not be comfortable with or necessarily want to do if you have other more important commitments in your life that take priority.

That said, please answer the following questions to the best of your ability and use #leaderapp or both if you would like to be considered for either position. I also completely understand someone only being interested in a leader role, or only being interested in a curator role.

A leader or curator role requires responsibility and maturity in resolving issues, conflicts or finding solutions to problems. What would you say qualifies you and can you provide examples?

may come to you concerning issues regarding harassment, or violations of amino rules or conduct. How would you handle the situation?

Being a curator or leader should involve being fair to everyone regardless of your own personal feelings. If a friend is breaking the rules or has a conflict with another member which has been brought to the attention of leaders/curators, would you be prepared to take action and how would you attempt to resolve the issue?

You may come across some who will criticise you in a non-constructive way and say they could do a better job. It may even get to the point of harassment and personal attacks. How would you handle this?

Thank you for your applications, due to the current inactivity among leadership, I aim to have at least one new leader and one new curator within the next 3-4 days- which will also mean that a team will start to form so that it isn’t only whoever I decided should get a leader or curator role.
