the smell of burnt coal fills the air and the sound of forging roars through the town of Ramsgate as the slayers prepare for the new Dauntless update

This update will come sometime soon in early december, around 6pm GMT, likely at the end of the current alchemy of war hunt

The update that could reforge the identity of dauntless. An update that will introduce quite a lot of stuff, from a new stylish hunt , to a new way of playing the game entirely! It is looking like it's gonna be quite the update :D

We know of quite a few of stuff that will get added so let's take a look at what we might get in this update

{hunt }

[THE COLD FRONT]

A new hunt , with new fancy weapons and armour, it looks like a very Norse like or at least very fantasy like hunt , compared to the previous one, Alchemy of War, which was very much mechanical and engineering like. Quite a fresh look in my opinion

here are the concepts we have been showed of the weapons and 4 types of armour, judge for yourself and you'll see its quite the fresh style, and very likely worthy of all the platinum

we don't know if all these armour concepts will come to the game but I think it's very likely

{elemental based islands}

many of the islands we have explored will soon get a fresh new look, with a atmospheric improvement. Here's a look

another island related feature we will get shall be Hunting ground! Giant isles full of behemoths, each with different events and looks, quite the interesting feature

{gliders}

soon in the new Dauntless Reforged update we will get gliders for quicker traversal of these new islands we're receiving, they are stylish and have a specific look to them, yet a cool feature for sure

{Slayer Paths}

a completely new leveling system is being added to dauntless in the form of a skill tree

it is likely that players are sadly being reset, but a compensation in the form of aether hearts to power surge their gear will come their way

from what me and my friend Fang have dug up, your weapon and armour rating will be based on the piece of armour you have at the highest level, meaning that if you have a +15 axe any axe you use will be at +15 post update.

{rams}

rams are becoming much more valuable as they will be used to unlock each new step on the new skill tree

{cells}

a lot of cells are going to be nerfed, for example:

-discipline +3 will lower hp to 75% and +6 will lower hp to 50%

-Iceborne is getting a nerf too, I've been told it is reduced lifesteal and no damage resistance

-defence and utility cells are very likely gonna be very much buffed

{overall}

this update is soon gonna arrive for us slayers, so stay tuned as I'll try to share any news, but all these features, from hunting grounds, hunt , slayer paths and such will for sure be amazing, and will make the game quite more alive for me.
