You keep seeing ments all over the media to work at The Spectacular Carnival for a couple months while Luis Spector goes on vacation. It couldn’t be that bad, if anything it was a long trip to an amusement park that you’re getting paid for! You headed on over to the park during closing time to be interviewed.

Across from you was a young man in a Spectacle Staff uniform. He had some facial piercings and long black and red hair pulled back into a low messy bun. He didn’t look very enthusiastic or interested in you. Of course Luis Spector was too busy to actually interview his own employees.

”Just, have a seat there, yeah- in that chair. So to begin I’m gonna need your name.”

As the roan entered the interview room, his distinctive style was immediately noticeable. Dressed in a hooded tracksuit, his outfit completed by a pair of chunky trainers and a cap.

He strode confidently to the chair across from the interviewer, taking a moment to assess the situation, he then eased himself into the chair.

With a deliberate motion, he pulled down his ski mask, partially obscuring his features but revealing his calm, composed blue eyes. Next, he took off the cap with a practiced flick, setting it down beside him.

"Sebastian Alexander King, but the mandem call me Seb or Alex." Leaning back in the chair with a relaxed posture, he adjusted his demeanor to fit the room, ready to engage in the interview. "Also known as Killer King -allias KK- in the ring."

”That’s your *name*? Heh.”

He snickered before writing down on the application.

”Uhh, how old are you? And when were you born?”

"I'm nineteen. Born May 19th."

He looked you up and down.

”Really? Damn, I thought you were older. What’s your gender and pronouns?”

The boy offered a satisfied smile and gave a proud nod.

"Appreciate it, thanks. I'm a man, he/him."

”So do you have like… a special talent? Skill?“

"Yeah, I'm the Ultimate Boxer. Been training and fighting since I was a kid."

He rolled his eyes and wrote some more.

”Cool. How’d you get it?”

Grew up in a tough neighborhood, had to learn to defend myself. Found a local gym, started training seriously. Won a bunch of amateur matches, got a rep.

”Wow, that’s so interesting. Can you cook? Clean? Press a button? That’s kinda a necessity because you’ll be doing A LOT of it.”

"I can sort out the basics, fam. I'm used to cleaning up the gym and sorting my own meals. Pressing buttons? Easy peasy."

”Mhm. Can you also handle keeping the Spectacles intact? Y’know, keeping their stage clean, test running daily. You’ll also have to replace parts on occasion and dust them off up close.”

"I’m solid with maintenance, innit. Always fixing up gear at the gym, so I got it covered."

”If you can’t do any of those then this ain’t for you. It’s really not that hard. The park allows you to bring animals with you but only one. It cant be anything crazy like an elephant. Do you wanna bring one?”

"Nah, no pets. Just me."

”That’s crazy. I’m sure you want to leave as much as I do, so let’s wrap this up. Anything else you wanna add?”

"I’m proper reliable and always get the job done. You won’t regret putting me on the team."

He finished writing and skipped a few pages, you caught a quick glimpse at what they were. They were warnings? and conditions? It’s just a summer job, so they can’t be that important. He flipped to the last page of the application packet. There it read, ‘Spectacular Entertainment is not responsible for any injuries or accidents and will not be held able. You have read and agree to all of the and conditions.’

”You can go ahead and sign on the line at the bottom. Hand it over when you’re done.”

Not wanting to waste anymore time, you sign it. The boy takes your application and stands up.

”You’ll be mailed a letter if you got the job. I’m clocking out, so, you can leave. Like now.”

You leave the park in hopes of accepting the job. How hard can it be?
