Curator Applications Are Open!

Greetings everyone! Today I have decided to reopen curator applications due to inactivity from the old staff. I’d love to bring this place back to being as active as possible and I’d love to bring in a new team to help me do this! The amount of new curators will be based strictly on the number of applications I deem are qualified for the position!

Requirements

You must be active! (The more weekly minutes you have, the better chance you have!)

You are not allowed to have any strikes or warnings! If you do and want to apply or are unsure of if you do reach out to me!

You must be Amino level 7 or higher!

You must have been part of this community for at least 10 days prior to the deadline! (Willing to make exceptions, but this is highly preferred!)

You must be 12 or older!

You must have 1 on topic post!

Questions

1. What is your age/age range? What are your pronouns and what would you prefer to be called?

If you don’t feel comfortable sharing your exact age you may private message it to me or use an age range like 16-18. If you share your age you do not need to share your age range. For the rest of the question an example of pronouns could be she/her and I like to go by Kenzie or kenz!

2. What time zone are you in?

This helps the staff team know exactly when you will be most active or awake in general. If you aren’t sure of your time zone look up the place you live (like Pennsylvania or any other state name) and then time zone. Or what time zone is Pennsylvania in. I also may be able to help you find your time zone if necessary.

3. Why do you feel that you would be the best choice to be chosen as curator?

Pretty self explanatory. Basically write as much as you want about why you want to become a curator and why you think you will be good at the job.

4. Have you any had any leadership experience on amino? If yes, which amino/s and what is/was your job/s? Have you ever had leadership experiences outside of amino?

Just for an example you can either say I have never been a curator or leader. Or you may list out your jobs and make sure to mention if you had any past jobs that you retired from.

For part two of the question, here’s another example. I was a section leader in chorus which meant that we helped run chorus and fully run it on the days the teacher isn’t there. We had to write a paragraph to get in so if there’s anything like this feel free to mention it here!

If you have experience leading or curating in another community I may consider bringing people up be leaders immediately since I’m currently the only one remaining. I will only consider this if you have prior experience! Otherwise I will assess everyone chosen over a given time and promote chosen folks as seen fit!

6. How would you handle yourself if you found that you were the only curator online and a pm’s you about a person who is acting really weirdly (it would result in a ban which only leaders can do weird)? What are some things you would do in your power as curator and how would you handle the member who is being harassed/weirded out?

This also is pretty self explanatory. We just want to know how good at handling situations you are. Also this may help to know that yes, there is a staff chat room.

7. What type of things would you disable? (Be as specific as possible)

This is just so we know how good at the job you may be before you are chosen to be a curator.
