Kieran is outgoing. His confident demeanor and sense of humour make him naturally magnetic. Underneath all the charisma lies a mind that's always calculating and alert. He can read people and see through most lies. He approaches life with logic and a touch of cautious skepticism.

Despite his extroverted nature he keeps most people at arm's length. A background in the corporate world full of double-crosses has made him slow to trust. His trust really must be earned, but once it is, he's a very loyal friend.

He has a strong sense of self-worth that makes him trust himself and his abilities to the fullest. He can handle stress well and keep his cool under most situations. In combat his moves are carefully planned.

Background

Kieran was born in Night City in 2053 to wealthy parents, who both had high ranking positions at Arasaka. Kieran had to meet his parent's certain expectations and it was clear from the start that he would have a part in the corporate world too.

His relationship with his parents wasn't close but he still wanted to please them.

From a young age Kieran was fascinated by all kinds of tech and cyberware which led him to want to learn netrunning and getting unnecessary chromed up at 17, getting himself a pair of Mantis Blades and a Militech prototype cyberdeck from the black market.

After surviving the fierce competition of Arasaka Academy he was ready to start in the real corporate world. He could've had a job as a netrunner but opted to becoming an agent at Arasaka's counterintelligence department where his main job was neutralizing potential threaths both in and outside of Arasaka. At this point his parents were already out of the picture and Kieran had moved to his own apartment at Corpo Plaza.

Kieran climbed the corporate ladder eventually becoming second in command in his whole department. His work became more paperwork and meetings but as one ode to his past he got a task to assasinate a superior executive.

But the job failed. It's unsure if someone snitched or what else happened but it lead to the shutdown of the whole department. Costing Kieran his whole corpo lifestyle. His Arasaka owned cyberware, money, home and Trauma Team insurance was all gone.

And as a little souvenir some agents tried to off him too. Maybe he knew too much about Arasaka's inner workings. With a bullet to the face he barely survived and crawled to some ripperdoc who fixed his face. Now he has a big scar covering almost half of his face and he hates it. With all that happened he lost his trust for corpos and started to loathe Arasaka.

For the next month or so he was basically homeless and lived at one of his old friend's place. As a mean to earn money he started to do different jobs and gigs and once he got the money he rented a place in Japantown.

It's been 11 months since he started a new life as a mercenary. He wants to earn a name for himself with a dream of someday having even a bit of a taste of the high life again.
