PSA : Inappropriate chats, and how to report them.

Recently there have been some chats

reported to our staff that have contained inappropriate questions, such as..

x. Where do you live?

x. What do you look like?

x. Can I see your picture?

And more sexually explicit questions. However, I will get more into depth on those in a minute.

All of these questions are deeply personal and are grounds for bans from Team Amino, as they violate the app's of service, and put you in danger. This means both your and the person asking these questions could be banned, and you will no longer have access to your at all.

Now, in general it is advised for you not to share personal information like this if you are an adult. But if you are a minor / under 18+, you are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN from sharing this type of information. Even if an adult asks you.

Sharing it is grounds for a strike, as well as any further consequences if we see fit. This is not something we take lightly. Your safety here is our top priority.

Explicit Questions

Adults,

you are under no circumstances EVER allowed to ask a child, no matter how old, for explicit information on CA.

You may not ask for nudes/photos, you may not ask for deeply personal information, and you may not ask for anything to do with sexual roleplay, and/or sexual information.

If you are caught in this situation asking for any of this, or anything similar, you will be banned on sight. And any alternative s you make WILL be terminated on. the. spot.

Regardless of your age, you are not allowed to sexually roleplay here. So any adults who are involved in the situation will have their s terminated. And anyone under 18+ will receive a strike for every time they are caught. 3 strikes, and you're out. No ifs, ands, or buts.

What do I do if someone asks me something inappropriate?

Find anybody on CA's staff team and immediately DM them with screenshots and a link to the person's profile. We'll figure out how to handle the situation from there, and we'll do our best to keep everything clean.

Please - if someone has asked you something inappropriate or has overall made you uncomfortable, PLEASE talk to one of us. We are here to help you. We do not want multiple people to be targeted by creeps.

After talking to one of us, we urge you not to maintain anymore with the person. Block them if you can. Do whatever you need to do in order to stay safe, and keep us updated.

What if they threaten me?

We understand this is a very stressful scenario, and we deeply apologize if this ever happens to somebody. But we urge you anyway to ignore their threats, block the person, and come to us for help.

We have the most power here, and we can keep you safe. Trust in us. Your reports stay anonymous, and are completely confidential.

You will be okay.

What if I'm not sure if something is inappropriate?

EVEN if you are unsure, we beg that you come to us anyway. It's way safer and way better if you tell us anyway instead of letting things until it's too late.

Speak up!! Your voice is loud.

Don't be quiet just because you're unsure, or maybe even scared. These are valid feelings, but this is our place to moderate.

We're supposed to be here for you.
