Crybaby looked at the kitchen table. No one was around, and she knew that no one would blame her for eating the last biscuit. She was a good liar. She giggled and grabbed the cookie. She ran to her and her brother's bedroom and ate the cookie. Her mother had said that no one must eat the cookie. She then heard her mother walk upstairs.

“Crybaby, did you eat the last cookie?” She said in a firm tone. Her brother looked at Crybaby in an expression that spoke on its own: “tell her the truth”

Crybaby didn’t want to get in trouble. She shook her head. “No, I didn’t. He did.” She said and pointed at her brother. Her brother was used to her lying and blaming him all the time so he was ready for whatever punishment their mother had for him.

That night, Crybaby went to bed and looked at the ceiling for a moment thinking. What if lying was a bad thing to do? She knew it was, she just didn’t like getting in much trouble. She sighed as she closed her eyes and went to sleep. Her dream started off like a normal day. Crybaby had woken up and walked downstairs into her pyjamas. Her hair was half blue half black, which was kind of unusual for her. She walked to the kitchen. Her mother looked at her and noticed that she was wearing her necklace.

“Is that my necklace?” She asked furiously.

Crybaby gave her a cute and guileless look. “No.” She lied. However, she felt something change on her. Her nose felt funny. Soon she realized that she could see it... it had gotten bigger!

“Jeez, stop lying and give me the necklace!” She said. Crybaby gave her a sad look and handed her the necklace. “You’re grounded for a week-“ her mother then said. “No... TV!”

Crybaby frowned and looked away. “Fine.” She whined.

That exact moment she woke up and ran to her mother’s room. “Mommy!” She said.

Her mother had just woken up due to her yelling. “Ugh, what do you want?” She whined.

“I ate the cookie. Not my brother.” She said. Crybaby wouldn’t lie, no more.

Cookies

I turn to the table

The swift heavens air blows

All because,

I see a cookie jar.

Creeping up,

Hoping my mom doesn’t catch me,

The heaven is happy

And I am too.

I grabbed the last cookie

And ran to my brothers bedroom

Air blows around me,

I felt like a god

My mom came up,

To the worldwide room,

the room I WAS in

I wanted to cry,

As she asked, “who ate the last cookie?”

I answered no,

But I knew something bad will happen.

I dreamed bad,

I cried in my sleep,

But that cookie was amazing,

So I didn’t regret it
