Sanctum 12 is a fictional organization in my personal multiversal lore known as “The Stellaverse” led by the god watching over the worlds, Artblade. They were originally created for a private Discord RP I hosted called “Forgather” in which they acted as a secret organization under a Fallen God’s control, only to be later freed by its heroes.

Sanctum 12’s consist of various Creations both native and not native to The Stellaverse itself. All personally saved and recruited by the leading god herself.

These are the stories of heroes, now ascended to become the Twelve Stars in the Sky..

” Death’s Brush “

Calihan Lato

Undead Artist of Unparalleled Skill

Calihan Lato is the first follower of Artblade, and the only member of Sanctum 12 who wields what is known as the Silver Eyes phenomenon. Calihan was originally a living Creation in the early era of The Stellaverse, only to die in an incident involving a literal tug of the heartstrings, causing them to die. Eventually their body was found my a man simply named “The Doctor” and was experimented on, only to be brought back to life. Calihan, along with eight other test subjects were forced under experimentation until all of them managed to escape to see the surface world. It was eventually then that Calihan encountered the god of freedom and the arts, and the two arranged a deal. The god shall protect their friends, and they shall become loyal to the god for as long as they live.

Adeline Farnham

Ace Pokémon Trainer of Apocalypse

Adeline lived in an alternate reality of the Pokémon world’s Kalos region in which Team Flare has turned the region into chaos, as they strived to rebuild the world with legendary Pokémon under their control. She and her childhood friend, Xavier Hampton, managed to rescue a professor’s assistant named Yukari Sakura by engaging in a battle using starter Pokémon that were freed from Team Flare grunts. It was at this point that Adeline, along Xavier and Yukari and their new partner named Zacharie Bellerose from Lumiose City, that they must stop this potential apocalypse. After struggling through thick and thin, they stopped Team Flare’s plans before the four were transported into a whole different world with other foreign heroes. Now stuck in the Countdown Event, all of these trainers were forced to battle each other before facing a corrupted Pokémon of myths and legend. In those final moments, Adeline decided to sacrifice herself to subdue this evil and ever since that day, she was thought to have been dead. Little did they know that she became one of the bright stars in the sky, protecting the worlds beyond.

A young mercenary that once roamed the Sunset District’s Lightspeed Speedway. Ever since Linne was young, there was only one life they knew; find a mercenary gig, do the job, scrape the pay, and repeat. The same rhythm, each day, just to survive in this hellhole of a city. A near endless samsara that she so desperately wanted to break out of, she wanted to change the world, or even escape it. That was when the god that presided over the yet to be established council met Linne, and took her in as one of their own. And ever since, Linne had been personally grateful for the god over Sanctum 12 for breaking her out of this endless cycle. As she finally has a place to call home at last.

Lucas Rosewood

Solo of the Sunflowers

Lucas was a very sickly boy in his mortal life, and all of his life was dubbed as a “cursed child” due his unknown sickness. He was alienated from his village of sunflower people, and had to learn how to survive on his own. Yet despite that, he was growing weaker by the day until he couldn’t even walk anymore. In his last dying moments, he wished to the stars that someone could cure him. Eventually, his calls were answered in the form of a favor. Now, this supposed “cursed child” has now become one of the Twelve Stars, having control over the elements of the world and helping the god over Sanctum 12 create the landscapes of many worlds.

Haze-V

Super Skating Striker!!!

A fragment of an experiment by Artblade herself to test reviving oneself without her own interference. This version of Haze is as closest to the original specimen and is being dubbed as the original itself (albeit she’s still called the fifth variant due to the order all Haze variants are found). Variant five, or Haze-V, appears much older than her other counterparts and has developed a ion for roller skating. Haze-V at the moment does not currently serve an important role in Sanctum 12, and only hangs out with them. But maybe there lies some form of hidden potential below the surface..

A young girl cursed with blindness after an attack at a young age, and ever since then she’s never spoke as well. She once thought she could never see the sunlight again, but she was given a special set of headphones with enhancing hearing capabilities akin to echolocation, and once more, the girl named Cecilia can “see” again. In celebration of seeing the world again, she sought out to travel and become a great warrior of sword and bow. She reached a village that hosted what’s known as the Échiquier Tag Battle Tournament, there she met both friends and enemies, becoming its recent Outlander. However with becoming and Outlander, she dug into a deep rabbit role about her family’s legacy and the tournament participants. And eventually thanks to those achievements, she ascended to become the Sixth of Twelve.

Seele Voronin

Dubbed the “Grim Reaper” of Sanctum 12, this was the very woman that inspired Artblade’s signature weapon of the Midnight Azure, then Flutterby Infinity. Seele came from a near-extinct culture of multiverse vigilantes that serve justice with their scythes. After an all-out war between them and a society of archivists, it’s been thought that Seele is the last of this culture, and thought that the archivists were no more. That was, until they found the Temporal Archives that trapped the last archivist. The two became close friends, and eventually scouted out Sanctum 12 together to carry on the legacy of both their cultures, together as allies, not enemies.

Karl Thwaite

The last of his kind from a society of archivists once thought to have been wiped along with a society of justice-seeking reapers. Ever since he was very young, the boy named Karl was never allowed to step outside of the Temporal Archives. He only had the comfort of the books that wrote histories, and ones currently writing histories. The boy named Karl was never truly aware of the outside world, not aware that he originated from the society of archivists, that his people are at war with reapers, and he was not aware of his purpose being locked up in the Archives. The purpose of him being here, him being alone, was to act as the archivists’ last hope. A chance to get back at the reapers and destroy their kind once and for all. Yet, when he encountered a reaper who stumbled into the Temporal Archives, he treated her with kindness. No animosity, and they befriended each other. With nowhere else to go, they sought a place between the stars in the sky. Now Karl, and his new close friend Seele work together to preserve each other’s histories while paving the way for the future.

Deadly Developer of the Divine

A young prodigy weapons developer and inventor, lucky to have ed to become one of the Twelve Stars. But this boy was never really born lucky, in fact he had always suffered misfortune prior to being found by Artblade and the council. Toby grew up in a steampunk society where the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. The poor boy was gifted with knowledge and creativity, and aspired to invent and develop—but those dreams were crushed by those who doubted and mocked him. At that point, he could do nothing but despair and weep, wishing that someone could just give him a chance. Then with a wish upon a star, his dreams were realized with Sanctum 12.

Lost Swordsman

An automaton with no known origin, presumably created by man with the gift of synchronizing with and summoning the elements. Left with only a blade and their gift, the now wandering machine sets on a journey to find purpose in its life. Along its journey, it learned aspects of humanity: emotion, skill, language, culture, thought, and choice. And when the world it once knew started to crash down into flames, it picked up its blade and fought for the humans until its very last breath. That was originally the legend of the Lost Swordsman, until they were rediscovered by Sanctum 12 in a sandy wasteland years later. And henceforth, the Lost Swordsman made a pact with the stars.
