✰Beaubo's are made from an inky black substance that can be both squishy and slimey. Anubis has many eyes and tentacles all over his body and one large mouth filled with razor-sharp teeth. He keeps this hidden, though, so he doesn't frighten people. Anubis is able to shapeshift, changing his shape and size whenever he pleases, so he is able to hide from his enemies and fir better in his habitat. He is prey to large birds, reptiles, and bats. He is the last of his kind. His favourite forms to take are: a large black snake with yellow eyes, a large dog with many eyes, and when he needs to protect those he cares about, he becomes a large creature with many tentacles and bears his sharp teeth.✰

✰He is like a huge golden retrieve. He loves observing people as he doesn’t speak very much, he instead es notes around using his tentacles. He can be a little grumpy at times when he's not allowed cookies or treats, but overall, he's just a big, squishy, friendly creature. The Beaubo's have their own language and Anubis only knows how to speak his language, to the normal ear it just sounds like hes saying "Blub blub blub" but Raven studied and learned his language, therefore shes the only one who can communicate with him through speaking. He understands english and can write in english, He just can't speak it✰

✰Anubis is a very special species known as Beaubos's. Beaubo's were very interesting creatures that are able to shapeshift themselves to whatever shape and size they wish. This helps them be able to live in whatever habitats they find, forests, lakes, swamps, or caves. They can adapt to whatever habitat they live in, able to grow gills for when they live under water and grow to the size of a small snail to hide from larger prey to hide under rocks. Once Beaubo's were discovered by humans, they found out they could be used as a substance to help light up peoples homes. A Beaubo could burn for days, keeping heating in their homes, and their blood was tested on for different medicines. Many Beaubo's were captured and sold to meet their Grizzly ends, though they were able to burn for days the Beaubo would stay alive through this whole ordeal. Their screams could be heard through the crackling of the fire. When the fire went out, it meant the Beaubo had died. Beaubo's had soon gone exstint, or so people thought. This Beaubo is the last of his kind, when he was a young little thing he was running and hiding from a group of Beaubo hunters. He was in the shape of a small black snake. He was very fast but soon found himself stuck in one of the human traps. That's when a purple cloaked person found him

"You poor thing.." The voice was soft and soothing. The Beabuo tilted his head and stared at this person as they helped him out of the trap and placed him on her shoulder. The humans who had made the trap came running over

"Hey! That's ours!"

The figure removed the hood of their large purple cloak, and the humans froze. "It's Angelique..the witch!" The humans quickly lifted up their torches and pitchforks ready to attack the woman, but the Beaubo wasn't having it. He wasn't going to allow the only person to show him kindness to be hurt. He jumped off the womans shoulder and landed with a very loud thud. He had grown to 10 feet tall. His many tentacles sprouted out of him, and he bared his large, sharp teeth and roared. The humans went to run but the Beaubo grabbed them and swung them in the air, some slammed against trees all that was heard was the sickening crunch of their bones breaking, some shoved straight into his mouth and chewed up into small pieces. Once he was done, he strunk back down to the size of a large dog and stared up at the woman, Angelique stood in amazement, staring at the creature

"You adorable little thing, you saved my life. Do you have anywhere to stay?"

The beaubo shook his head at her

"Do you have a name?"

The creature once again shook his head and then stared at the woman, Angelique smiled and knelt down. She carefully reached her hand out to the creature. The Beaubo was very hesitant at first but then shoved one of his tentacles into her hand and firmly grasped it to shake it with a smile on his face. The woman chuckled and stood up

"Well, you can't stay here now. They will come looking for you now you've killed some of their own. Why don't you come stay with me for a while?"

The creature thought for a moment but was unsure. The woman smiled, then shrugged

"You don't have to if you don't want to, but I promise you it's safer there than it is out here."

She started walking away as the Beaubo sat and watched her for a moment. He turned his head and stared back towards the woods. She was right. It was no longer safer out here, and he was tired of trying to find new places to hide. He quickly slithered after her, using one of his tentacles he tapped the lady on the shoulder

"Hmm." She turned and looked down."Oh, so you've decided to come have you?"

The Beaubo nodded frantically. The woman softly chuckled and knelt down and held her hand out. The Beaubo shrunk down back into his Snake like form. The woman picked him up and placed him on her shoulder before putting her hood back up

"Well, now that you are going to be staying with me, we need to give you a name."

The creature stared at her as she thought of some names

"Frankie?"

The creature shook his head

"Milo?"

The creature once again shook his head

"Hmmm, Patrick?"

The creature looked at her with an expression of 'really' Angelique chuckled slightly and gave it more thought, then it came to her

"Anubis."

The creature smiled widly at this name. He liked it a lot.

"Anubis it is then."

Anubis lived with Angelique in her large mansions for many, many years. He watched as she married and had a child. He helped look after baby Raven, he played games with her, put her to bed and ate all the things she refused to eat.

Sadly, whilst Angelique and her husband were away on a small getaway, the townspeople found out where they were. Angelique was taken and executed for being a witch, and her husband was also killed as her partner. When news of this reached home to Ravens' grandmother of what had happened, she knew she had to protect Raven. Her only way of doing this was sending her far away from here. Anubis hated that idea. He swore to Angelique that he would protect Raven no matter what, but Ravens' grandmother insisted it was the right thing to do. A few years after Raven was sent away for her own safety, her grandmother ed, and Anubis was left alone. He grew lonely and constantly felt nothing but guilt. He wished he could've protected his family better, he would often have dreams of Angelique coming to see him and tell him everything's okay. She would soothe him and tell him stories. When Raven turned 18, Angelique taught Anubis how to visit Raven in her dreams

"Call out to her, tell her it's time to come home."

Eventually, after months of trying, a young woman came to the mansion. It was old and dusty, pratically abandoned. It was Raven. From then on, Raven and Anubis had become best friends. The two of them tidied the mansion up and ran it like a bed and breakfast for those in need. People who felt outcasted by the 'normal people'✰
