The Eye Collector and Humans: Total Explanation

Omfg okay this one won by like a Landslide but the Eye Collector's Relationship with Humans is complicated to say the least; See her people's opinions on humans vary heavily but for Eye Collector it's almost always ranging from Morbid Curiosity to Abhorrent Loathing. Now her people in general don't really care shes hunting humans (I mean some of them don't like it but...); As long as shes not directly harming them or targeting her kind shes good to go after all they're a different species; Its like going out hunting yeah they're making noise but are they saying anything? No not really- Not to Eye Collector lol. Plus humans can vary in their eyes from Lower Animals to Adorable Entertainment to Equals (Again it all depends on what her people individually think; If I draw more of them you'll see some absolutely adoring and loving humans instead of hating them)  So for Eye Collector even as Myrrha Wilson shes seen Humans as Cattle- Animals- Cows- Pigs- She sees alot of things and humans are unable to. Human eyes sparkle or shine with emotions she couldnt ever feel or understand and worse to Eye Collector is that Humans can live their whole lives unburdened by trauma or there are multiple possibilities for them while she has to feel and live with what happened to her as theres only one of her. She envies and despises it and because of this she feels they don't deserve their eyes if they go through their whole life blind to what's out there- What SHE sees- So to her if she takes their eyes maybe you'll finally see what she sees- Or maybe she'll come off delusional to you who knows. It's a mixed bag. As well given her Ex tried to... Uh take advantage of her she cant help see them as this short sighted and animalistic things that need to be put down immediately. Essentially shes taking her baggage out on them because she's bitter about the hand she was given in life. And I mean her trauma is valid but then we have her taking her greviance out on living talking beings. Not really fair eh? But eh shes a - Life ain't ever Fair for them lol. But let's move on cause its alot; Okay so then we have relationships with humans or moreso her humans. Now when she was Myrrha Wilson the Eye Collector harbored an affection for her family but she never felt part of the family. This was both in part to her knowing she doesn't belong and in part to the fact her Fam while good to her sometimes were not really be adept at being parents. With her only garnering some attention from her caretaker Madge well you get an unempathetic Myrrha who just doesn't understand that Familial Connection or Love human families have for each other. So essentially even her Family she sees as sorta pets; Animals that she has to take care of and protect but animals all the same. It's funny huh cause even Pets are considered family but for Eye Collector she will always emphasize that they're the pet shes the owner. She protects them and keeps them safe but that's because she owns them. So now where does that put Human Killers/Proxies/ Y/Ns (LOL)/ Potential Helpers/ Other? Well see the Eye Collector works alone. Lives alone. And preferably wants to die alone (I mean hell she rejected Phoebe's marriage proposal so what does that say). If she had to encounter one of the above mentioned she wouldn't be thrilled at the prospect because she'd feel humans are sorta just there to kill the vibe and leech off her instead of be worth anything of inherent value. But if they're insistent in wanting to help her or be around her The Eye Collector will make one thing clear to them; You. Are. Replaceable. In the Grand Scheme of things you don't matter you have no place in her life aside from what you do now. You are nothing. You'll become nothing. And you're going to be tossed aside because you will never be worth anything more to her than a headache whose more competent than the other sheeple shes encountered before. (Oh and Eye Collector wont even kill you; She will take your eyes dump you in the woods near a bear cave or lions den while reminding you were never anything to her than a tool and if you thought you were anything better than that then try and survive without her ) Like the Eye Collector has no chill and is heavily Xenophobic to humans attaching themselves to her in that way; Killer or Otherwise. Proxies it's a different story; Eye Collector is aware they're forced to serve an Eldritch Demon. But to her they're sheeps ripe for the slaughter; A sacrificial Lamb if you would- So long as Slenderman keeps taking and ruining THEIR lives and ignoring her and her kind shes good. She doesnt see Proxies as people nor victims but as pets or slaves and as such doesnt acknowledge them as people more like props or tools. She knows many of her kind's hearts would bleed for the Proxies' Plight and want to help but she is not one of them. She doesnt care nor feel shes able to force herself to care because while she envies Humans having possibilities she will never have- unfortunately this was one of them and to her that's what you get for being a human.. Now despite seeing Proxies as even subhuman she does harbor some respect them. It's not alot but they were chosen lambs to the slaughter for a reason and she can respect them for it even if they hate it. Now even despite this it isnt to say a human CAN'T get close to her win her respect or even her affection (as impossible as it sounds). Its possible. Just uh... Very VERY hard to. First this human would have to accept that to Eye Collector you're nothing. You're nothing without her. Nothing to her. And you can easily be replaced. You are replaceable; You're acting like a brat- Well screw you she'll find someone more docile. You die? Ehh she'll find another you you ain't that unique. You think you're one of a kind? Eye Collector will slowly break you down and make you realize and accept you're not anything but mud on her boots she hasnt scraped off yet. You arent worth anything to her. And the quicker you accept that the easier yours and her relationship will be. You do that then it's like the first hoop to jump Eye Collector will be glad you can accept that. Second way is if you are able to save her people or Phoebe (And on that extent her people like you). As said Eye Collector is intensely Xenophobic like she does not like humans but if you managed to befriend some of her kind and then save them from another killer or hunters or you save Phoebe then you definitely got Eye Collector thinking of you differently. Honestly she'll be confused: Why did an animal save one of her people? Why did they risk themselves to help someone she cares about? Was it to get her attention? To save themselves? Why would you do it for her people when she would have dropped you like a bad habit in an instance? This type of stuff would perplex her to a point she'd even ask and if the answer is something to the effect of "Because they're my friend/Its the right thing to do" then you really have stumped her. The Eye Collector knows her treatment of humans is wrong she knows it's bad but then you save her people anyways? Are you trying to confuse the hell outta her? Cause it doesnt stop there; Her instincts are telling her to hate you to take your eyes and leave you in a ditch to make you know you're beneath her but another part of her asks how she can do this when you risked yourself for people who you'll probably never see again or would have initially been dismissive of you? This stuff gets her confused and she just doesnt handle it well but that's another way a human can get close to her. Taking advantage of the confusion and intrigue to show her you're not a waste. And I mean it wont work out too well since Eye Collector has so many walls built up and thinks with her head not her heart but itll show her you do have something to bring to the table even if she would like to think you don't. In fact its easier for her to think that but you didnt choose the easy way when saving her kind so her "Olive Branch" would be not taking the easy way also.Then afterwards it's just a very delicate tightrope walk since one wrong move can make her dismiss you with a quickness afterwards. Her people are like deer honestly; you step on a twig and they're off never to be seen again. With Eye Collector it's the same except you get dumped in a forest/mountain far away from society (See cause if you saved her people/Phoebe she wont take your eyes; She'll just ditch you and vanish without a trace) That aside though the process can be easier depending on the human if... ; - The human looks like Phoebe (curly blonde hair 'blue eyes' chubby build) Eye Collector may feel a bit merciful or more endeared to them cause she clearly has a type - The human has naturally  primary colored features ( So like Red Hair Blue Eyes/ Blonde Hair Blue Eyes )- Her people are attracted to colors like that so you lowkey might be Attractive  to Eye Collector if you have those features that she may hesitate a bit with working on ya.- The human is a female (Eye Collector has spent her whole life with human females so they have an easier chance forming a relationship with her than men; And she finds herself attracted to females more than men *And I mean shes bi but like that's a whole ass other rabbit hole we should wait to get into Haha ) - The human acts like Phoebe or is very Submissive and Shy. The Eye Collector is a sadist; If this human is super submissive and HELLA feminine/girly then shes probably going to be lowkey into them cause that reminds her of Phoebe and she'll all around be even more intrigued than before - The human is in a romantic/friendly relationship with her kind ( Like I said some of her Kind likes humans to the point theyll date them so if the human is around enough she will sorta tolerate them more ) But there you go that's an in depth explanation on Eye Collector's Relationship with Humans if you have any questions let me know~ Also as strange as it sounds I can see Eye Collector forming a relationship with a human or another in the 6 years shes out collecting but who that character is is a mystery and how thatd go I'm unsure ( If yalls wanna help me develop that idea or you wanna suggest your character and go over their dynamic then hit me up in Chat I really love writing character dynamics and though EC isnt social I cant imagine her hunting went unnoticed by other peeps. )
