And then-

In the episode "council of the creek" he used the same thing when he should meet new people

He thought that he can be attacked? But why would he be? He was afraid that other people can hurt him without reasons, but what or who made him feel so? I think his fear connected to his past, probably to his family

POOR BOY I HOPE THIS ISN'T TRUE but yes he totally has trust issues
