Question???!

Should I start a go fund me for cosplay stuff so I can start my cosplay channel on YouTube. This is a dream I've had for awhile and I want to cross it off of my wish list but my parents are refusing to help me in my wishes calling it "stupid, pathetic, and a waste of your talents" But I don't believe them . I want to do this with my life. I just really don't know if I should start the go fund me page to help get money for it . Should I or should I not?
