Today I will be covering the REP points system.

So, what is REP?

REP stands for reputation. This REP is what helps you level up to, eventually, reach level 20.

How do I earn REP points?

The REP point system is quite systematic, hence it being a system.

In order to earn REP, you can do four different things. These are:

•Check In - checking in is simple, it gives you 1 REP point a day. However, if you start a check-in streak, you'll get more points added onto the original one. An example of this is if you were to check-in for 3 days straight, you'd get the base 1 REP point as well as 2 extra points for the streak. But don't forget that the maximum streak you'll gain rewards from is 11 days, but if you keep the streak you'll keep the same bonuses everyday. Meaning a quicker level up speed.

•Spend time - if you spend time on amino in general, you'll be gaining 1 REP point every 2 minutes. The maximum amount of points you can earn a day from doing this is 100.

•Get featured or added to the Wiki - if you create a post that contains here. You can earn up to 100 points a day (the case for almost all of the points stated). Each post of yours that is featured will earn you 20 REP points. Also, ask a leader about Wiki entries that you'd like to submit, to see if they're allowed. The same rules apply for the REP gain for Wiki submissions as getting featured.

•Stay Engaged - staying engaged with the community is perhaps the best way to earn REP. In order to "stay engaged", you have to create blog posts (if you don't know how to do that, look here for the tips and tricks of producing a good blog post), the posts must be relevant to the community, otherwise they'll be disabled. The way you gain REP from creating and posting blogs is from likes as well as others commenting on your blogs. That rule applies vice versa as well, so if you comment and like others blogs, both you and them will earn REP points. The best way to gain reputation points is by creating high quality posts that are relevant to your Aminos, gaining likes and comments.

What's the point in earning REP?

Well, the higher your REP, the more likely you'll be on the Leaderboard.

How do I find my REP points/level?

Well, in order to find your points and/or level, you must first get onto you profile. To do that, you can either 1)go to the left side bar or 2)click on your profile picture anywhere you see it (public chats, like boxes on posts, comments etc).

How to do number "1)"

~Step One~

Go into the left side bar.

~Step Two~

Click on your profile picture image and that will take you to your profile.

~Step Three~

Click on any of the circled places. That'll take you to your Achievements, stats and check-in info page (found below).

How to do "2)"

This is slightly more simple however it looks more complex due to the different amount of ways you could do this.

Firstly, you can get to your profile through liking stuff. Once you've liked a post, go into it and scroll down until you see a box which says "likes".

Click on the arrow and it should take you to a list of all the people who have liked that post. Then, scroll down to find your name. Click on that.

Then you repeat the steps above in order to get to the Achievements, stats and check-in info page.

Secondly, you could get to your profile and then the Achievements, stats and check-in info page through your comments on posts/people's walls. In order to do this, you must first comment on a post of someone's wall. Once you have done this, go onto the post/stay there and then click on your profile name/image.

This'll take you to your profile. Then just repeat the steps before.
