It’s been a while that I’ve done something for my colonies, and I apologise for that.

Based on the Earth element. Stalagmite is gray and brown, colours of common rocks and mud.

——<Physical Description>——

The green of the eyes is from plants, usually associated with earth.

The stripes on the face is me trying to make it look rocky, hence the jagged lines.

The brown parts are the softer parts or parts that look fluffy of a cat, not the ears however as I want the whole head to resemble a boulder, and the spine because I wanted more brown on Stal, though maybe just near the tail is enough.

The stripes on the lower back is supposed to resemble having crystals inside them.

Along the spine is a row of spikes, they can be raised and flattened, like a porcupine’s. They cannot be detached however. They feel like thorns. The longer, harder, and darker the older and more intimidating.

The little spikes on the back legs are of stone and resemble plate-like scales. The larger the older and more intimidating.

The tail is supposed to be a root. It does function as one, allowing Stalagmite to take in nutrients and water without eating if there’s fertile soil. (Though there’s no energy, no leaves for photosynthesis.) It could also be used for stability. It is prehensile.

Claws are flint.

——<Personality and Such>——

Watchful: Stalagmite’s hide is tougher than usual cats, which is good protection but lowers mobility. So it feels better to stay put than moving around, so that gives the habit of looking around the surrounding area.

Steady: As a rock

Relaxed: Stalagmite can hardly spend time racing around about stuff.

Sluggish: Refer to Watchful.

Stubborn: Stalagmite is just hard-headed.

As the tail is the most exposed part, Stalagmite usually keeps it underground, or between the legs. Normal cats may lightly tease about the pose looking awkward, but Stalagmite has grown used to it.

#OcCElement

It should’ve looked more symmetrical at the back.

I loved the reasoning for the personality traits! (Haha, wish I'd done it on mine!)
