{I Apologize Ahead Of Time For This Chapter Jumping Around So Much. I Wanted To Try Something Different For This Chapter, But This One Only. This Chapter Was Made To Tie Things Together And Give Information}
Maple padded with the rest of the new recruits, following the trail to the temple, shocked eyes gazing at the group. Cocoa padded forward, tears forming in the corners of her eyes. "Why are all these forest colony cats with you." She barely managed to choke out the words. "Their colony is torn apart. Spark was a cannibal and nobody could trust her." Maggie and Icetail padded forward among the ranks of the wandering group. Many cats hesitated, obviously wanting to go back to their home, but not being able to stay there. "How could you have left me?" Thrush Jr. padded up to Cocoa, glaring with pure hatred at his mother. "I had no choice, you wouldn't come with us!" Thrush unsheathed his claws, glaring at the ground. "Where's Flake?" Maple glanced over at the usually colorful she-cat, only a few patches of color remaining on her snowy white pelt. She slowly padded over to her brother.
Maple watched as the rest of her citizens built dens around the small pond. Most of the dens were formed with rock debris found around on the rocky lands. Fish calmly swam through the pond, a sign saying to not fish without permission beside the body of water. The highlands had plenty of prey and water. Maple could build an enormous, powerful army here. Maple travelled back to the beach, gathering many different shells and bringing them back to the highlands. She placed the shells around Cocoa's den and created a pathway in front of it, branching off to lead to the pond and to the fresh kill pile.
Maple proudly padded to the festival with her colony, many of the forest colony cats glaring at her. Maggie was already at the temple, watching her two kits carefully, Alexander and Alice. Alice looked just like her mother, but Alexander was much different. A dark gray cat with a white heart shape on his face. His amber eyes showed wisdom far beyond his time. Maple could see the faint outline of Noir standing beside Maggie, his colorful eyes warmly gazing at his step-kits. Olive glanced at her mother from among the ranks of the Mountain Domain, Crow glaring at Maple by her side. Maple gave her daughter a warm smile before continuing on with the rest of her business.
Flake snuck out of town, the moon hanging high above her head.
