Kovu replied, “Shadow and Fern.”
“I’m sorry, you cannot invite shopkeepers, Fern can come with you though. Also Flash will you.”
Kovu sighed, he hated Flash, always boasting about how fast he was. He began to walk out of camp.
Flash immediately boasted, “If this were a race, I would immediately beat you.” He grinned, his orange pelt shimmering in the sun. Kovu snarled, “If you’re so fast, prove it.”
“Fine, I challenge you to a race.”
Fern interrupted, “Sorry to interrupt, but should we be getting on with what we are supposed to do?”
Kovu didn’t know what to do, to accept the challenge or not, what should he say?

Even though it would slow down the patrol, it would give Kovu a chance to put Flash in his place.
Leave your reasons in here!
Hmm.
Not ing means more annoying Flash, buy we do our job and Fern respects Kovu more.
If we the race, we will slow down the patrol.
If we win Flash might ire us or hate us more and perhaps Fern will be impreseed. If we lose, we dont earn something.
I agree
